Personal Log #5 - Action
[Spock gasped into consciousness and trembled at the biting cold. It took him a moment to realize that he was no longer on a metal, unforgiving examination table... but instead laying down in what felt like... snow. Fascinating.
His senses were completely off. The current date and time eluded him due to the number of occasions he had overcome to unconsciousness in the Malnosso's care...
Normally mental orientation would not be a problem...
...However, his current state of blindness left much to be desired.
He slowly stood, categorizing his physical condition, and found that his body was not cooperating as it should... he had to lean against a tree to retain balance. He ached all over. The Malnosso appeared curious towards his Vulcan physiology.... and went to great lengths to discover what they could. Spock shivered again as he recalled what they did to him. They had started with his fingers... running tests that involved pain tolerance and sense range.
They left the brain for last. Spock was successful in keeping them out of his Katra, a mental landscape containing his links...protecting what stability and bonds that he had left after his planet's devastation. However, it was his efforts in the end that now left him blind. In their enthusiasm, the Malnosso did not realize the extent of Vulcan stubbornness, so when threatening him with his eyesight did not work... they soon lost interest.
That left him in his current state.
Concentration was... difficult at the moment. There was too much pain. His Katra called out in an attempt to help him, but he did not know how successful that was. In the interim, Spock assumed that he was back in Luceti and started to walk forward... sensing the trees around him to use them for support.
He hoped someone would find him soon... He was without his uniform, and left once again in only a pair of pants. This cold was quickly becoming too much for his Vulcan biology to withstand.]
[Feel free to meet Spock wandering, blind, and cold. He's out in the woods currently, but he'll eventually make it somewhere near the village. Enjoy~]

[Action]
Then stay by me. I'll guide you. Can we go to the clinic first? If there's something that can be done... [She doubts there is. The Malnosso tend to be... thorough.]
Re: [Action]
There is nothing for a Doctor to heal...
[Spock pushes himself off the tree, and he stumbles in Ami's direction...]
[Action]
Re: [Action]
His nerve endings are 'singing'... a rather strange sensation.] You are a Doctor correct? Is there anything you can do?
[Action]
I wouldn't know without examining you.
Re: [Action]
Then you will have the opportunity to do so when I reach my residence. [Spock gave her a bit of a tug... he really wanted to go home.]
[Action]
If we discover there's something that could be done, we'll go the clinic then.
Re: [Action]
I am thankful for your concern Miss Mizuno... [And he was sincere... he was fond of this individual.]
[Action]
Of course I'm concerned. We all need to help each other here.
Re: [Action] ~please forgive my spelling mistakes~
Concern has always been a human notion...
Well, it has been difficult to say the least to diverge from his traditional Vulcan upbringing, and contend with his humanity.]
Your...logic is sound. [Spock leans on her just a little bit... he does not want to give her much of his weight. But he is grateful for the support.]
I am... glad... that you found me Miss Mizuno.
[Action] no worries ever <3
I'm relieved, too. [This comes with a smile, despite the situation, as Ami makes the conscious choice to focus on helping Spock, and the fact the effect of the Malnosso's work should wear off.] It's not too far, so hold on just a little longer.
Re: [Action] <3
His body is protesting movement at this time....]
[Action]
Ami keeps her voice firm, and steady, to distract him and reassure him.]
It really is close. Here... [She slips off her own jacket.] Wear my coat. It might be small, but... it will still give some warmth. Right now, my body is in better condition to be cold for a few minutes.
Re: [Action]
He was about to protest though. He did not want to think that he was causing Ami any discomfort on his behalf...
However... he was really cold...]
I thank thee.... [Spock starts to feel the familiar presence of his house, and his head automatically raises... however, there is nothing to see.]
The door should be unlocked.
[Action]
She tests the door and, thankfully, it is indeed unlocked, making it much easier to help Spock inside. As soon as she crosses the threshold, she takes a quick look around.]
You should lie down. Which is your room?
Re: [Action]
It appears that my Captain is not home at this time... [Spock sits on the bed... not exactly sure what he should do first.]
[Action]
Re: [Action]
[Spock's eyes close... he is very tired... ]
I have been trouble enough for you for one night Miss Mizuno... you may leave if you wish.
[Action]
Which means she's heading for the linen closet.] I'll be right back.
Re: [Action]
Miss Mizuno was truly exceptional.]
Indeed. [Spock starts to feel around the drawers for his sleep-clothes... but his fingers refuse to cooperate.]
[Action]
What were you looking for? I can find it.
Re: [Action]
[Spock stands, and attempts to walk in the general direction of the bathroom.
Normally this would not be a problem, even blind. However... ]
[Action]
And secretly hoping for a no:]
Do you need help? [She can't pretend she's eager, but, well, it's all part of nursing and doctoring, too. She hasn't forgotten that.]
Re: [Action]
He believes he can navigate the bathroom for his purposes...]
If you would stand by the door momentarily, just in case?
