Personal Log #5 - Action
[Spock gasped into consciousness and trembled at the biting cold. It took him a moment to realize that he was no longer on a metal, unforgiving examination table... but instead laying down in what felt like... snow. Fascinating.
His senses were completely off. The current date and time eluded him due to the number of occasions he had overcome to unconsciousness in the Malnosso's care...
Normally mental orientation would not be a problem...
...However, his current state of blindness left much to be desired.
He slowly stood, categorizing his physical condition, and found that his body was not cooperating as it should... he had to lean against a tree to retain balance. He ached all over. The Malnosso appeared curious towards his Vulcan physiology.... and went to great lengths to discover what they could. Spock shivered again as he recalled what they did to him. They had started with his fingers... running tests that involved pain tolerance and sense range.
They left the brain for last. Spock was successful in keeping them out of his Katra, a mental landscape containing his links...protecting what stability and bonds that he had left after his planet's devastation. However, it was his efforts in the end that now left him blind. In their enthusiasm, the Malnosso did not realize the extent of Vulcan stubbornness, so when threatening him with his eyesight did not work... they soon lost interest.
That left him in his current state.
Concentration was... difficult at the moment. There was too much pain. His Katra called out in an attempt to help him, but he did not know how successful that was. In the interim, Spock assumed that he was back in Luceti and started to walk forward... sensing the trees around him to use them for support.
He hoped someone would find him soon... He was without his uniform, and left once again in only a pair of pants. This cold was quickly becoming too much for his Vulcan biology to withstand.]
[Feel free to meet Spock wandering, blind, and cold. He's out in the woods currently, but he'll eventually make it somewhere near the village. Enjoy~]

[Brushing off the fact that something has been asked of him, he straightens and closes the distance between them in a few deliberate steps.]
Is this not enough? [He cocks his head, his tone more playful than biting.] ...Would you have me shift the entirety of my home a foot to the left? [Pausing at length, he begins to circle Spock wolfishly, slowly and calculatingly, eying him with critical appraisal. And then comes a conspiratorial whisper teasing the shell of his ear. Low and husky, the sort meant to lay secrets bare and make a man - or woman - come undone.]
Do I offend? ...You needn’t be afraid to say it.
no subject
Requesting that your house be moved to any location other than that of where it stands is illogical. Though being here is 'enough' as you state it, I sense that you are deliberately 'teasing' me.
Normally my defenses in such a situation are able to handle this type of confrontation... however... in my current state of blindness and physical weakness I need medical assistance.
[Spock involuntarily shivers at the sudden breath across his ear...]
You do not offend me Isaac... you merely have me concerned.
no subject
[He waves away his own question after a moment as if it were a pesky fly.]
You need only to have asked, my dear Spock. [Of course.] Is relief from your... bodily suffering what you desire most?
no subject
My captors decided that they were interested in the Vulcan nervous system as it pertains to touch telepathy...
... and attempted to discover my pain threshold.
They were rather enthusiastic, and soon used their knowledge to my disadvantage. However, I was able to keep them out of my mind... but I am now experiencing 'discomfort'... [Spock does not know how this information will help him or Isaac, but it was always worth a shot. Perhaps if Isaac realized that he couldn't be of any help, he would take Spock somewhere else...]

Lay back. [He presses his fingers to Spock’s chest and lazily pushes against him.]
no subject
However, he eventually complies and lies down on the bench, making sure the sheet was between him and the cold of the stone....]
no subject
Do try to relax.
[Isaac purrs.
Drawing from its energy reserves when prompted, the devil then opens its jaws and bathes Spock in glowing waves of energy – the life energy siphoned earlier from another being - that will soothe his nerves and begin to seal lesser wounds.]
no subject
However... something unexpected happens and Spock closes his eyes as his body is... comforted.
The nerves are calmed and repaired to a certain degree... and he is no longer bleeding anywhere...
Spock finds himself starting to doze on the stone bench.]
no subject
Rest, now, and regain your strength.
[Leaning over his guest, he then falters, wrestles with his fiercer impulses for a moment before pressing the chastest of kisses to his brow, teasingly languorous and sweet and with all possible tenderness.]
When you wake… [He coos, straightening.] You may wish to consider how you will begin to repay your debt.
no subject
He was very nearly asleep already, however, he still heard everything that Isaac said.
He felt the kiss to his forehead... but did not feel much malice behind it, so he did not react.
At this point, is was wiser to rest... and escape in the morning.
Again, stuff done with permission.
pffffft~ XD
Something is not right. He goes to sit up, but is prevented in doing so by the... iron link around his wrist.
He tugs on it experimentally... the chains rattling loudly against the stone walls...
He senses a presence standing not too far away...] Why have you done this...
no subject
Ah, awake at last. So deeply you slept at moments, I supposed you dead.
[Yet there isn't a trace of anxiety or concern in his voice.]
no subject
[Spock was getting agitated, but he kept his cool.] You have not yet answered my question. [Spock tugs on the chain for emphasis...]
no subject
I did not wish for you to hurt yourself; God forbid you should in an attempt to leave before you are fit to travel alone.
no subject
...Spock... cannot figure them out.]
I assure you that I will not leave before I am able to do so... Though I do not need to be chained. I ask that you release me... [Spock's voice was forced at a neutral level.]
no subject
[He moves closer still, reaching out to frame his gloved hands around his face. As his gauntlets are buckled tight and not quite so easily removed on a whim, he presses his lips again to the man's forehead as if truly meaning to gauge his temperature.]
Mn. [A thoughtful murmur.] You are rather warm.
/flails! XD
The Vulcan heartbeat is faster than most beings... therefore core temperature is moderately higher. I do not have a fever Mister Isaac. [He could not help but compare the fact that his mother used to check his temperature like this...
...but he felt safer with his mother. This being was obviously powerful, and Spock was at a huge disadvantage...]
Since you are with all pertinent facts... will you consider unchaining me at this time?
no subject
You are trying my patience with your incessant demands. Despite my efforts to accommodate you as best I can, nothing quite satisfies you, does it? You selfish creature!
no subject
...he was being 'played' it seems....
...most curious.
....Also most inconvenient. Spock had to change his tactic if he was going to make it home anytime soon.
Spock gently, and slowly lifts himself from the bench... the chain pulled taut as he stands in front of Isaac...]
My apologies ...Isaac. I agree that you have shown me nothing but you own 'brand' of kindness since we met last night. However, I am well rested now... and I would not like to impose myself on you.
no subject
I'm afraid you are not quite as clever with your words as you imagine yourself, but I commend your attempt, weak as it is.
[A low, murmuring chuckle issues from him.]
What ever am I to do with you? [Of course, it's hardly half the dilemma he will have it seem to be, but he does have a flair for exaggeration, and he's perpetually amused with how obvious it and his own insincerity is.]
no subject
He is fairly certain that Isaac will not kill him, so Spock does what Vulcan's do best....]
Very well, however, from your tone of voice I am able to deduce that you are very bored with my presence, believing that this whole situation is an inconvenience that may or may not have the potential to be slightly entertaining...giving you a 'break' in your otherwise 'everyday' life.
Considering your tendencies towards sadism, narcissism, and pessimism, this whole scenario is not a surprise.
It is a show.
[Spock pauses for a moment...]
I will not pretend to understand you Mister Isaac, however, considering what I have witnessed of you already, you are rather transparent. The fact that you have, to some degree, taken care of me speaks of an inherent kindness.
You obviously have the power to kill me, but the fact that you have not done so suggests that you want me to live... either to prolong the 'entertainment'... or that you simply do not want to.
All of this adds up to a series of events that happened to you at some point that has 'soured' your kindness.
[Spock's voice has remained neutral, no inflection to give away if he is mocking, or making 'fun' of Isaac...
Spock stands there, tall with his back straight.]
Do not misunderstand me... I appreciate most of what you have done for me... However, I do not appreciate your 'games'...
no subject
Oh? And yet it seems you now pretend rather doggedly to understand me and what it is I do. [He answers at last, evenly, as if unfazed.]
Although your interest in me is most flattering, it changes nothing. If only you applied your mind to... other concerns, you would be thrust back into the freezing cold whence you came... as you so desire.
no subject
I will not 'fight' you on this Mister Isaac...
Though I must admit you are rather fascinating. [Take it as a compliment...] Though I am curious... what 'other concerns' do you mean? I am at a very distinct disadvantage here...[And completely at your mercy went without saying...]
