Personal Log #5 - Action
[Spock gasped into consciousness and trembled at the biting cold. It took him a moment to realize that he was no longer on a metal, unforgiving examination table... but instead laying down in what felt like... snow. Fascinating.
His senses were completely off. The current date and time eluded him due to the number of occasions he had overcome to unconsciousness in the Malnosso's care...
Normally mental orientation would not be a problem...
...However, his current state of blindness left much to be desired.
He slowly stood, categorizing his physical condition, and found that his body was not cooperating as it should... he had to lean against a tree to retain balance. He ached all over. The Malnosso appeared curious towards his Vulcan physiology.... and went to great lengths to discover what they could. Spock shivered again as he recalled what they did to him. They had started with his fingers... running tests that involved pain tolerance and sense range.
They left the brain for last. Spock was successful in keeping them out of his Katra, a mental landscape containing his links...protecting what stability and bonds that he had left after his planet's devastation. However, it was his efforts in the end that now left him blind. In their enthusiasm, the Malnosso did not realize the extent of Vulcan stubbornness, so when threatening him with his eyesight did not work... they soon lost interest.
That left him in his current state.
Concentration was... difficult at the moment. There was too much pain. His Katra called out in an attempt to help him, but he did not know how successful that was. In the interim, Spock assumed that he was back in Luceti and started to walk forward... sensing the trees around him to use them for support.
He hoped someone would find him soon... He was without his uniform, and left once again in only a pair of pants. This cold was quickly becoming too much for his Vulcan biology to withstand.]
[Feel free to meet Spock wandering, blind, and cold. He's out in the woods currently, but he'll eventually make it somewhere near the village. Enjoy~]

There have been a few.... accidents since I entered Luceti.... [Should Spock confide in Buffy? If they were 'friends' before... he sees no reason why he should not....]

As it was, he barely holds in a sigh of frustration...]
Mister Zevran I presume? Or Arsene?
However, you are correct... During the Amnesia shift... I was left exposed and created two mental links.
Only one person is aware of the link....

[ she stops to let him speak. a soft intake of breath. ] Shouldn't you maybe...tell the second person? Wouldn't that be most fair?
no subject
However, his face turns a shade green at that next suggestion...]
It is a rather... delicate matter. I would rather him not know the true meaning of the link that we share....
[Spock even sounds conflicted....] It would be logical to inform the individual of all pertinent information... however... I ...am disinclined.
[Spock is silent for a long time...]
It is Captain Kirk....
no subject
Still -- that's gotta be awkward.
no subject
And awkward would be....as they say.... an understatement. [Spock can sense that they are nearing the house...]
I believe we are getting close to the house... the door should be unlocked.
no subject
...I could stay, if you want. Make some tea. Or just make myself scarce. Either or.
no subject
Perhaps after I have rested, we will converse more? [Spock turns to face her... though he obviously cannot see...]
I thank thee for your kindness Miss Summers, it was much appreciated. Also.. I found our conversation to be highly...enlightening.
It is my hope that we may reconvene at a later date. [Spock bows his head.]

It's been nice re-meeting you too, Spock. At least -- I'm guessing that's what you're trying to say, under all that fuss. Promise me you'll take care?
~That....was amazing! XD
Then tilts his head at her note of concern.]
Of course... [Spock lifts his hand in a Ta'al..]
Peace and long life to you Miss Summers, until next we meet. [With that, Spock gently enters the house, and closes the door...]
