[Spock always knew that Beast was a being of few words... even to the point where Spock sometimes misunderstood what he was implying.
Still, Beast had a comforting presence... and he was pleased that he was the one that found him.

However...he could tell that Beast was sad about something.]

Beast... I have an inquiry. I have reason to believe that you are...sad...about something. Is this correct?
