[Spock fiddles with the journal for a moment, making certain that the message is broadcast to everyone but Nico Robin.]

Greetings and salutations everyone. It is my hope that everyone has recovered from the latest Malnosso experiment, as from what I heard from others, I do not envy your experiences.
At this time, I find myself with a request for those of you who are familiar with Miss Nico Robin. It has come to my attention that due to recent events, Miss Robin's emotional disposition has greatly suffered, and it is my wish to see it improved. From what I understand of various cultural habits, it is common to utilize various festive activities to improve emotional morale. These activities should consist of conditions that are agreeable to Miss Robin, so if there is anyone who is aware of what Miss Robin enjoys, please inform me as soon as you can.
I am asking for assistance in planning this gathering... I believe the proper term is 'party'? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as well as refraining from telling Miss Robin about this.
The time and location for this gathering will soon be disclosed.

Yes, that's true. Ah, most humans do. [Spock's strange way of talking about parties is explained: not-human. Elizabeth has to marvel a bit though because he really LOOKS human. ~~Fascinating.~~]

However I didn't have a life like most people. I was kept in a tower until I was twenty. ...I suppose that makes my opinion on something like this a little useless.

[Turns back to give Spock a very serious look.] I fight to kill, or I'll only fight someone I know is strong enough I can't kill. Chun-Li had to kick me through buildings before I would agree to spar with her, and even then...

Until you've fully mastered haki, I don't think that would be a very good idea. [Rubs his lip with a fist.] No. Even then. As a zoan, awakening bloodlust like that can be quite dangerous.

[If Spock was more human, he would have laughed... just in response to everything. Instead, he just gave Marco a very smile hint of a smile.]

This is quite interesting. Never before have I been immersed in a place with so many stronger individuals than myself. I am three times stronger than the average human, yet I find myself sorely outmatched by most beings here.

[Spock ducks his head...] My apologies, I will not offer again.

[Now he's at a loss for what to do. There is nothing to do except wait.]

[Because... why? Did she stay there willingly? Was she a prisoner? Maybe he shouldn't be asking these question, but he was always curious.]

In the beginning, it was because I was born with an ability I couldn't control.

But then no one taught me how to control it, and I was kept there because they were afraid of me. And I grew older, and stronger, and they knew it would only be a matter of time before I couldn't be contained anymore.

...fear was a great motivator, in short.

Do you still have access to this ability since entering Luceti? [Because Spock was forever collecting this information. It was important, and part of a very long timeline of events that would hopefully someday give him the answers to this place.]

Yeah, I found one person. Plus Robin, even though I haven't met her the right way. I'm counting her anyway. Did you? Does that kind of thing happen a lot?

It is a phenomenon that happens regularly. Currently, my Captain resides here. Approximately eight months ago, our ship's Doctor was here, but then he was sent home.
However, apparently I was here two years previous, and yet I have no recollection of it. A rather... curious thought, yes?

Yeah, it's weird. Is it just not important for people who come back to remember being here after all? [ It just seems like a weird lack of priority to him. You're supposed to want people to remember the things they went through when the point is putting them through things, right? ]

That has yet to be revealed... and believe me when I tell you that I have theorized extensively. The one theory that makes the most sense in this case is the one where none of this is supposed to make sense.

However, I find that I do not like it.

Not to the same capacity that I'm used to. I used to be able to materialize entire architectural elements. But now I'm lucky if I can bring a cup of coffee in where a cup of tea used to be.

[Her automatic assumption is that Spock is asking about what everyone asks about: can you open a tear and send me home?]

You do realize that I do not mind you eating meat in front of me, yes?

... of course, I don't mind. It isn't as though it hurts. [Honestly, she's a little surprised Spock wants to see it at all. This far, Gai was the only one who hadn't been afraid of what she could do. Booker had said, point blank, that he was afraid of her. ]

That's not what I meant. I'm not that concerned about eating meat in front of you or not.

I meant if you don't like what I make, you can buy new ingredients yourself and prepare things in advance.
