As far as acquiring data from the newcomers, I would suggest they be approached by yourself or Luke. My social status makes the fact of me publicly approaching others a risky one, as that might invite outside interference. I could do my own analysis whilst you or Luke was working and your presence would hopefully be a mitigating factor for mine. I would also prefer to keep the purpose of our data collection quiet for now, as it is merely a hypothesis and it seems a bit ill-considered to alarm people for what may be no reason at all.
