Personal Log #5 - Action
[Spock gasped into consciousness and trembled at the biting cold. It took him a moment to realize that he was no longer on a metal, unforgiving examination table... but instead laying down in what felt like... snow. Fascinating.
His senses were completely off. The current date and time eluded him due to the number of occasions he had overcome to unconsciousness in the Malnosso's care...
Normally mental orientation would not be a problem...
...However, his current state of blindness left much to be desired.
He slowly stood, categorizing his physical condition, and found that his body was not cooperating as it should... he had to lean against a tree to retain balance. He ached all over. The Malnosso appeared curious towards his Vulcan physiology.... and went to great lengths to discover what they could. Spock shivered again as he recalled what they did to him. They had started with his fingers... running tests that involved pain tolerance and sense range.
They left the brain for last. Spock was successful in keeping them out of his Katra, a mental landscape containing his links...protecting what stability and bonds that he had left after his planet's devastation. However, it was his efforts in the end that now left him blind. In their enthusiasm, the Malnosso did not realize the extent of Vulcan stubbornness, so when threatening him with his eyesight did not work... they soon lost interest.
That left him in his current state.
Concentration was... difficult at the moment. There was too much pain. His Katra called out in an attempt to help him, but he did not know how successful that was. In the interim, Spock assumed that he was back in Luceti and started to walk forward... sensing the trees around him to use them for support.
He hoped someone would find him soon... He was without his uniform, and left once again in only a pair of pants. This cold was quickly becoming too much for his Vulcan biology to withstand.]
[Feel free to meet Spock wandering, blind, and cold. He's out in the woods currently, but he'll eventually make it somewhere near the village. Enjoy~]

He allows them to walk in silence for a time... and he can soon sense his house.]
I believe we are nearing my household, it should be unlocked... though I sure that would not have been a problem.
no subject
Oh? Do you believe I have some skill in picking locks?
ilu ^_^
Negative, I simply believe that an individual such as yourself would allow a lock to deter her.
ilu2 <333
But you are correct--I would hardly give up so easily and leave you in the cold.
[Once they're close enough, she reaches out and turns the doorknob.]
Fortunately, you remembered rightly and the door was indeed open. Shall we?
~<3
The Vulcan allowed himself to be moved into the house, noticing that it was much warmer indoors.
Good, Jim had left the heat on... but it also seemed that he was not here.]
I would ask that you lead me to my room... then I will not longer trouble you Miss Grune.
~<3
Which direction is your room?
IMissU~
...He may have to do something for Grune in the New Year, regardless of whether or not she remembers.]
IMissU2 D:
She doesn't give him more than a brief glance, however, and keeps moving.]
Very well. We will soon be there.
<3
<3
There. The door is open directly in front of you.
Might I be able to provide any further assistance? I could make you a cup of tea, if you would like.
Re: <3
Thank you.
Re: <3
It has been my pleasure. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything else. Adjusting to the loss of a sense can be a long and frustrating matter, and I would be happy to ease your period of adjustment in whatever way I can.
Re: <3
He removes his hand gently.]
Of course... Peace and long life to you Miss Grune, until next we meet.
Re: <3
To you as well. I look forward to our next meeting.
[She smiles, though she knows he can't see it, and turns to leave.]
Re: <3
I... I will remember you. Even when you cannot. [Spock actually does not know why he says this...
But some human part of him feels badly for Grune's situation.]
Re: <3
Thank you, Spock. What you offer me is a gift, and I will treasure it.
[Because she, of all people, understands the importance of memory.]
