I'll tell you the same thing I told you before, Spock. The heart of the test isn't all that inadvisable; the problem is that you can't...test for that kind of thing. I don't know about Vulcans, but humans really need all that pumping adrenaline and down-to-the-wire ingenuity. A test just can't provide that because all it does provide is another benchmark to hit: a grade to make.

I say this having gone through a similar test of my own, y'know. It wasn't pretty.
