Intro Log - Voice/Action

[Illogical does not even begin to characterize the situation that Spock has found himself in. Approximately 2.4 minutes ago he was on the bridge of the USS Enterprise, and through some, as of yet unexplained phenomenon taking no time at all, (possibly through some spacial anomaly or undetected ion storm) suddenly appeared inverted in a tree... Current conditions also leave much to be desired. Spock's Vulcan physiology requires higher temperatures, and proper garments for optimal comfort... the forest in which he is now located has a lower than optimal temperature, and coupled with the disappearance of his Uniform and thermal wear he finds himself rather... cold. Though, perhaps it is fortuitous that he appeared in clothes at all... the white pants will have to suffice.
Upon his initial assessment, and descent from the tree, he was amazed to see an alteration to his physical person]

...Fascinating.

[Spock cards his fingers through the feathered protrusions located in the area of his scapula. Since he could feel a rather curious sensation through manual stimulus of the ...wings, Spock can safely assume they are indeed his newly acquired appendages. He could not fail to notice that his wings are the same ebony color his hair is.
Taking in his surroundings, Spock could hear the sound of running water close by... but nothing significant that could give him evidence of his location. The terrain was similar to that of Earth, however, there was 'something' about them that Spock could not quite explain that told him 'no, this is not Earth'...
As he was about to venture towards the water in hopes of finding civilization, something catches his attention... it appears to be some form of recording device located at the base of the tree in which he just descended from. Picking up the device he also notices that it has his name on it and it appears to be active. Curious... This proves that he was indeed sent here on purpose. But why?
Spock finally decides to speak out loud.]

Greetings, I am Spock. Is there a conscious form of life out there that can tell me my current location?
folklorist: (I'm just your average headmaster yep)

Oh! Well they're all around actually. It depends on which one you wanted to contact. Nala is easily heard anywhere in the enclosure, while Hyt is...a bit trickier to grasp. Hyt is the most elusive of the seven, only being able to be heard in direct sunlight. H-He's, um, very shy too.

As for the school I, ah, suggest speaking with Raine Sage as well. She, um, has been running it longer than I have. But I doubt she would have any problems with additional help. [ They could both use a lot more than they currently have. ]
antivanleather: (That is funny to me)

He'll do more than that if you let me get away with it. >->

[Oh now that was a delicious little sound. He stills his hand, waiting for Spock to calm himself. Maybe he brings his hand to the side a bit. Musses another set of feathers subtly. Grinning all the while like the wicked thing that he is, of course.]

The knit of this fabric does not give that much, and you do not seem terribly experienced in the control of your wings. Give them a little flap- they are more flexible than you seem to give them credit for.
talentsgirl: (Neutral | Uh-huh)

This might - hurt a little. I know that the wings are sensitive.

[Sensitive in all kinds of ways and she tries not to think about that. At all. Instead she braces one hand on his back between his wings and starts pulling down the shirt one side at a time. As she pulls the shirt against his back with one hand, she smooths the wing flat against his back.

She stopped when the shirt just covered the edge of his wings. This left her plenty of pull in the shirt itself and aligned the holes over the wings which... should make it easier to pull the wings through.

She left one hand underneath the shirt and one above.]

You're all right?

[Because this next part might actually... really hurt.]
antivanleather: (Riiiiiight)

Oh ho ho ho~

[personal profile] antivanleather 2012-09-22 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
I am going to try to lay one flat against your back so I might move the fabric down. If it becomes uncomfortable- tell me. These appendages are delicate.

[He'll need both hands, the knife goes behind one ear. True to his word his touch is light. Delicate. Very gently folding the wing along it's natural formation to press against Spock's back.]

Can you hold it here?
antivanleather: (I am all ears truly)

I am bad and should feel bad. But I don't.

[personal profile] antivanleather 2012-09-22 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Alright then.

[He releases the wing and watches it carefully, making certain that Spock can indeed hold it against his back on his own before sliding his fingers to the base of the opposite wing. He once again ran his fingers through the softness of Spock's feathers and begins to carefully fold it along it's natural inclinations. Halfway there he stops, peers around Spock to check his expression]

You are well?
antivanleather: (mhmmm)

[personal profile] antivanleather 2012-09-22 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
Ser?

[That expression, to the untrained eye, could be misconstrued as a man in pain.

Zev knew better. He keeps his face blank and waits for Spock to speak, idly twisting his fingers against the feathers. Additional pinpricks of sensation, just to test. To tease. Surely he has realized what it was he felt by now.]

Just about. If you wish me to stop....
antivanleather: (that was a good one)

Surprinsgly dense. Zev finds it adorable

[personal profile] antivanleather 2012-09-22 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
So long as you are certain.

[Another twist, shifting his grip on the delicate limb, and he finishes folding the wing flat against Spock's back. Rests it there so he can hold it and gently pulls the shirt down over his tightly folded wings.]

Too fast and we would risk injury. The wings are sensitive- losing a feather is much akin to being punched in the kidneys, or so I am told. Better to be cautious, yes?

[personal profile] geniustheveil 2012-09-22 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
Of course; I don't mind at all. It isn't far from here - hurry. [She takes longer, quicker steps; though she's still careful to keep a pace Spock won't have any trouble keeping to.]
antivanleather: (srsface)

>-> I am aquiver in anticipation

[personal profile] antivanleather 2012-09-22 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
[It is a bit of a stretch, the fabric does not wish to give in the slightest- but he manages without popping any of the seams. It did not look comfortable at all, so he worked quickly, marking where each cut should be made with a quick knick of the blade. Then the trickier part.

Zev was careful. Very careful when he brought the knife's blade up inside Spock's shirt to cut through from the inside. They were quick, clean, and he managed to do so without one touching skin or feather with anything more than his hand.]

Here we are.
antivanleather: (bitch please)

[personal profile] antivanleather 2012-09-22 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Deft hands come with my occupation, my friend.

[A low, throaty chuckle and he withdraws the blade entirely to slip it back into it's sheath. He did not think he'd have to make the holes any larger.

One hand remained inside the shirt, cradling the first of Spock's wings, the other slipped through the cut in the fabric to find the joint. Give it a little tug in the right direction.]

[personal profile] geniustheveil 2012-09-22 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
It's just ahead there. [She quickens her pace still more, to get out of the damp before they both catch colds. As soon as she arrives and slips inside, she pauses in the doorway to brush some of the water from her clothes.]
antivanleather: (these lips-so tempting)

eeeeeeeheeheheh

[personal profile] antivanleather 2012-09-22 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
Breathe. It will be over soon.

[Well, just this joint. Then there's the rest of the wing. It's slow, but he manages to pull the first bend through and begins the slow process of pulling the rest of that tiny wing through the hole he'd cut in the fabric.

It was a bit of a snug fit-the feathers caught and dragged here and there. Whenever Zev saw this he would stop, give Spock time to breathe, make certain none of the feathers were twisting unpleasantly, and then resume.]

talentsgirl: (Okay so...)

[personal profile] talentsgirl 2012-09-22 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
All right, on three. One, two--

[And it's on two when she moves.

Molly decides that doing this quickly would be better, so she holds the hole open with one hand and with the other works the wing through. She just hopes it doesn't hurt too much.]

--three.
