Intro Log - Voice/Action

[Illogical does not even begin to characterize the situation that Spock has found himself in. Approximately 2.4 minutes ago he was on the bridge of the USS Enterprise, and through some, as of yet unexplained phenomenon taking no time at all, (possibly through some spacial anomaly or undetected ion storm) suddenly appeared inverted in a tree... Current conditions also leave much to be desired. Spock's Vulcan physiology requires higher temperatures, and proper garments for optimal comfort... the forest in which he is now located has a lower than optimal temperature, and coupled with the disappearance of his Uniform and thermal wear he finds himself rather... cold. Though, perhaps it is fortuitous that he appeared in clothes at all... the white pants will have to suffice.
Upon his initial assessment, and descent from the tree, he was amazed to see an alteration to his physical person]

...Fascinating.

[Spock cards his fingers through the feathered protrusions located in the area of his scapula. Since he could feel a rather curious sensation through manual stimulus of the ...wings, Spock can safely assume they are indeed his newly acquired appendages. He could not fail to notice that his wings are the same ebony color his hair is.
Taking in his surroundings, Spock could hear the sound of running water close by... but nothing significant that could give him evidence of his location. The terrain was similar to that of Earth, however, there was 'something' about them that Spock could not quite explain that told him 'no, this is not Earth'...
As he was about to venture towards the water in hopes of finding civilization, something catches his attention... it appears to be some form of recording device located at the base of the tree in which he just descended from. Picking up the device he also notices that it has his name on it and it appears to be active. Curious... This proves that he was indeed sent here on purpose. But why?
Spock finally decides to speak out loud.]

Greetings, I am Spock. Is there a conscious form of life out there that can tell me my current location?

It would seem there is no other logical explanation for Grune's condition... Ka'adith.]

[Spock notices the several gardens that they pass...]

Yes, I'd love gardening! It's so much fun and you can grow so many beautiful flowers!

[That earns Grune another half-smile from Spock...]

Indeed, then perhaps you would be amenable in assisting me in the future... I plan to have a garden at my new living location.


Are we nearing your place of residence? [Spock is looking curiously around.]

[Grune stops to look around as well.]

[Spock closes his eyes briefly.... of course.]

He takes out his journal and opens a map of housing...]

What is your house address number?

It's Number 34!

[At least she knows that much.]

[Spock nods and locates it on the map.... they were going the wrong direction...

Spock merely puts his journal away and grabs Grune's hand and leads her in the proper direction.]

Your house is this way Miss Grune, I will get you there.

[Grune happily folds her fingers around his, entirely content to hold hands with a man she's only just met. Whatever would Fenimore say?]

All right. Thank you very much, Spock!

[spohkh]

[Spock has to keep from sighing in exasperation. He needed to return Grune to her home so that she does not become lost... ]

All right! Let's see....

There's Norma--she's very smart and a wonderful friend. She and I are the Laugh Brigade! [Don't ask.] Fenimore is also such a good friend, and she's smart too. She looks after Sophie, who's very cute. And then Walter does lots of hard work. He's helping Sophie learn how to protect everyone.

[Spock keeps leading Grune...]

Am I to understand that Sophie is a child?

Yes, that's right. She's four years old!

[She's gotten so big!]

[Spock looks forward and sees their destination.]


I believe that it your house Miss Grune, correct?

[Grune stops admiring the fall leaves long enough to check, and....]

Oh, yes, it is! Thank you, Spock!

[Spock makes sure Grune is at the doorstep before letting go of her hand... this is akin to delivering a package it seems.]

Very well. Shall we get together some other time for tea perhaps?
