Intro Log - Voice/Action

[Illogical does not even begin to characterize the situation that Spock has found himself in. Approximately 2.4 minutes ago he was on the bridge of the USS Enterprise, and through some, as of yet unexplained phenomenon taking no time at all, (possibly through some spacial anomaly or undetected ion storm) suddenly appeared inverted in a tree... Current conditions also leave much to be desired. Spock's Vulcan physiology requires higher temperatures, and proper garments for optimal comfort... the forest in which he is now located has a lower than optimal temperature, and coupled with the disappearance of his Uniform and thermal wear he finds himself rather... cold. Though, perhaps it is fortuitous that he appeared in clothes at all... the white pants will have to suffice.
Upon his initial assessment, and descent from the tree, he was amazed to see an alteration to his physical person]

...Fascinating.

[Spock cards his fingers through the feathered protrusions located in the area of his scapula. Since he could feel a rather curious sensation through manual stimulus of the ...wings, Spock can safely assume they are indeed his newly acquired appendages. He could not fail to notice that his wings are the same ebony color his hair is.
Taking in his surroundings, Spock could hear the sound of running water close by... but nothing significant that could give him evidence of his location. The terrain was similar to that of Earth, however, there was 'something' about them that Spock could not quite explain that told him 'no, this is not Earth'...
As he was about to venture towards the water in hopes of finding civilization, something catches his attention... it appears to be some form of recording device located at the base of the tree in which he just descended from. Picking up the device he also notices that it has his name on it and it appears to be active. Curious... This proves that he was indeed sent here on purpose. But why?
Spock finally decides to speak out loud.]

Greetings, I am Spock. Is there a conscious form of life out there that can tell me my current location?

[He grinned, a little mischievous. Another name was added to his list of people who needed to be taken out for coffee sometime, and it was added with a thrill of fanboy glee. He could keep calm. He could keep calm~]

It's just down a little ways. All of our shops are in the plaza.

[Spock nods at Mister Lupin and follows him to the plaza.]

What other 'shops' are there of relevant value?

It's a thing he does. It takes a special sort of person to be added to this list :3c

[It wasn't far--they arrive fairly quickly.]

Other than these there are the necessities. A grocer, several restaurants, a couple of tailors who are volunteers from within this village. There's also a couple of semi-tactical organizations and the barracks in the south of the village.

Besides that, we don't have much. Think of it as a cozy little paradise in the Alps, and you'll be pretty close to what we have here.

Barracks? You have a military faction?

There's lots of military types around here, but none of them have organized into anything large scale or official. 'Barracks' is just a catch-all term. It's mostly used for self-defense lessons that are held by a good friend of mine, or as a training ground for people who don't want to use the Dome.

Attempts have been made to start an organization. They failed.

[Failed? Spock may have to look further into this at a later date. It seems as though they reached their destination.]

[Failed. It's a quirk that the residents of Luceti have.

Lupin nodded.]

It is. Shall we?

[Spock nods and walks into the store.....

This might be an establishment he may consider visiting again in the future. There were weapons filling every spare space. However, his eyes zeroed in right away to a back shelf that held his phaser and holster. He actually made a 'pleased' sound in the back of his throat.]

[Lupin tried not to smirk too broadly at that soft sound. It was entirely unexpected, but not an unwelcome development. Maybe this Spock was different from the one that Lupin was more familiar with.]

[Spock fits the holster around his hips as he replies....]

'Like' is an objectionable term that can have several meanings, it is also a matter of personal preference...

However, I am inclined to find myself rather agreeable to have my gear back in my possession.

[Spock looks at Mister Lupin and does a 'half-smile' (boy, does he need to meditate).]

Are you in need of sustenance at this time?

[Lupin tried not to laugh. It was a very round about way of denial--but this was Spock. Not that Lupin could complain, as he was no better.]

We can get food if that's what you would like. The weather's changing, and you must be famished.
