[Spock blinks awake... but then shuts his eyes again as the wave of disorientation hits him. People and events crowd into his mind in no logical order... leaving gaping holes in his memories.

Logically, he can safely assume that something has happened to him. He's hurt, alone... and his normally eidetic memory is off... Indeed, something has definitely happened to him.

Opening his eyes once more, he takes in his surroundings... his tiny hand reaches out and takes the journal that is laying innocently beside him.
It's a familiar book, almost as if it's from a distant memory... but he cannot remember how or why it's here... or where he is for that matter. But he does recognize these trees... He's definitely been here before.
Opening the journal's pages, he doesn't realize that he has activated the 'video'... Anyone who is listening in will see the bruised face of an eight year old boy... with a familiar bowl cut, slanted eyebrows, and pointed ears.
Spock stares at the book for awhile, trying hard to place it within his memory... then shuts it. Standing, and fighting off another wave of disorientation... Spock makes his way slowly towards civilization.]

ooc: Meet 8 year old Spock, who is lost and confused as to where he is. If your CR with him is strong enough, he may recognize you, and recall some events... he just won't recall everything clearly. All answers to posts will be coming from my other account:

Feel free to bump into Spock as he wandering aimlessly around town, trying to find his way home.. or at least a familiar face. If he does find a familiar face, expect him to tag along like a duckling.

[Where had THAT come from? Spock was confused again... but he picked up his sandwich and started to eat it again.]

Figure of speech, Spock. I'll teach you those eventually.

_{[ He rolled his eyes and went about cleaning up lunch. ]}

[Spock hopped down from the counter without too much difficulty... and looked up at Jim.]

May I see my room now?

[Yeah... he's an impatient little kid~]

Yeah yeah yeah, hold on.

_{[ He swatted his rear with a dish towel, then motioned for him to follow to the room Spock had claimed as his own. ]}

[Spock stared after Jim...mouth slightly agape.
How undignified.]

[Nonetheless... Spock follows after his Captain.]

Why shouldn't I have done it?

_{[ He raised a brow as he paused before Spock's door and opened it for him. ]}

It is... degrading. No one has ever done that to me. Does it mean something significant in human culture?

[Spock looked into the room...]
This... is not a child's room.

They didn't exactly have a Kids Rooms to Go or something. We had to make due with what we had.

I see...

But if these are my belongings...?

[Spock knew something was up. He didn't feel 'at home' in this body, and the memories that he has been seeing revolving around this man do not add up to an eight year old child.]

Some of them are, some of them aren't. Like I said, we made do.

[Spock wasn't buying it...]

[Spock wondered where the heck that title came from... then he stared up at Jim..] You 'are' my Captain yes?

_{[ He looked at him and knew the kid was on to him, but so long as he was accepting it for now...

He nodded. ]}

Yeah, I was captain of the ship you were on.

[Spock was about to ask what occupation he filled until he spotted a blue uniform with commander stripes.

The young Vulcan shut hit mouth quickly...
What else was his Captain 'protecting' him from?
Spock took interest in the floor once more....]

I require rest... Please excuse me.

Right, of course. Um, come get me when you wake up, okay? I'll just be hanging around.

_{[ He shrugged his shoulders, not sure what else to say. ]}

Jim!

Will you stay for a moment?

[Spock would never, never, ever admit to being scared at being in a new place... with so many unfamiliar things.]

_{[ He paused, looking at the other, and he sighed. He was Spock and he wasn't Spock, and truth be told he felt kind of bad for him. Seriously, a kid in this place? ]}

Yeah, sure.

_{[ He walked back into the room and tugged back the covers on the bed, looking to Spock and motioning, like he expected the boy to crawl in and nap. ]}

[Spock looked between Jim... and the bed...

...then actually did get between the covers.
Laying his head down, he regarded his Captain...]

No problem, kiddo. I know it must be scary, being alone in a new place.

_{[ He tucked the covers around him, sitting on the edge of the bed. ]}

Vulcans do not get scared.

[Said like a true Spock.]

Everyone gets scared sometimes. Vulcans are just better at dealing with it.

_{[ He grinned at him, tucking the covers absently. ]}

Are we really?

[Spock doubted that.... Sometimes he wondered if Vulcans were like a bottle.... In threat of exploding if shaken for too long.

Spock snuggled into the blanket...his eyelids becoming very heavy all of a sudden.]

No problem, kiddo.

_{[ He sat there quietly, not really watching him, but waiting for that
moment to slide up where Spock was fully asleep. ]}

[Sleep finally overcomes.. and Spock slips peacefully into it.]
