Personal Log #11 - Dazed and Confused [Voice/Action]

[Spock opened his eyes and held in the groan at the familiar sight of Luceti's forest. It took a moment for the Vulcan to organize his thoughts and realize what had happened...

Ah yes... He had been kidnapped once again.

Spock sat up, wary of the lingering effects from his visit with the Malnosso... and looked around for his Journal. Predictably it was laying innocently by his side... illogically he had hoped that it might have been lost. No matter.
Spock reached for it and stopped... realizing that something was wrong with his hand. It was... frozen. His long fingers stuck together, hand in the shape of a loose fist and refusing to move. The Vulcan's eyes widened in surprise as he checked his other hand, finding the exact same thing. What was he going to do? He could barely pick up the journal let alone use it properly.

The Vulcan fumbled with the journal, finally getting it to flop open on in his lap... ]

Greetings. I have been returned from my... visit... with the Malnosso. I require assistance. Is anyone there?

[Action]: Spock can be found in the woods without the use of his hands. He's going to need a lot of help, and Spock's not going to like it.
You can also catch him walking towards his place with his journal held awkwardly between his fists. Approach him if you dare.]

[OOC: When I originally went on Hiatus, I said that Spock was going to be on autopilot, however, I've needed to be away longer than originally planned. It was advised to me that I have Spock mallynapped to excuse him from not knowing everything that's gone down. Apparently I've missed wings... this upsets me greatly. XD]

[she reaches up and grabs his wrist lightly so he can pick it up and carry it around]

[Spock blinked in surprise.... This was a rather... fascinating compromise.]

Miss Robin... you have my thanks. Where are you so that I might meet you.
[That's right, he wants to see you in person.]

Indeed... there is a clearing not far from here.
[Spock stands, lacking in his usual grace.]

I see... I await your arrival.

[Spock was concerned for Crona... he was in a very unusual situation. A prisoner.]

_{[ He hears it and he makes for it, glad he had been back on his
jogging all these past weeks. He made it up to the other relatively
quickly, dropping down into a crouch next to the Vulcan and giving him a
lop-sided grin. ]}

Well, fancy meeting you here.

[Spock looks up at Jim's face... a face that he hasn't seen in a long while.]

It... is good to see you Captain.

[Spock means it. The Vulcan stands, lacking his usual grace and coordination.]

Okay...I can be there in a few minutes.

[Crona would like to make a point that there are no bunnies chasing after him inside, which is why he's been doing his best to avoid going outside.

And once Crona is ready to leave his house, Ragnarok will give Crona two...decently sized cuts on the outer side of each wing. Sadly, it takes a few minutes to make the wings with the power cut here...]

_{[ Kirk grabs his arm and hooks it over his shoulder, helping the other
up, arm sliding around his waist for extra support. ]}

I kind of missed your face too, Spock.

Come on, let's get you home.

_{[ He began to shuffle them along, sincerely glad to have his friend by
his side again. ]}

[She knows that voice and she definitely knows the man - er, Vulcan - behind it.]

Spock! I can come right away. Do you still need help?

[Or perhaps just someone to talk with him and keep him calm for now. Spock usually seems quite self-contained, but she knows from very sharp experience that the Malnosso can be unsettling to anyone.]

You've been gone for a while.

Has anyone come to help you yet?

[Spock walks to the clearing with an air of curiosity. Was Crona intending to fly here? That was Spock's logical conclusion... but he wasn't aware that Crona had that ability.

Spock, in an undignified action, kicked the journal along the ground so he wouldn't lose sight of it... It wasn't as if he could pick it up or anything. Spock stared at it as if it had insulted him... and waited for Crona.]

[Spock was about to tell Jim that he could walk... but refrained. This was the most contact he's had in almost two months..
...the Vulcan found himself welcoming the considerate touch.]

Have I missed anything of significance? Is the young female and her wolf still residing in our house?

[Spock froze at the sound of that voice... ]

Ami?

[He had been gone for so long... it was good to hear from a friend.]

I... would not be adverse to your assistance. [Translation: yes, I really want your help.]

[Spock's eyebrows furrow... that voice.]

Mister Bliss... What is the current calender date?
[Spock wanted to know how long he's been gone...]

There is someone on the way to my current location... however, I would not be adverse a conversation with you.

[Translation: I'm all alone in the woods, it would be awesome if we could chat.]

July Seventh, same year as when you left.

[In other words, not too bad, but long enough to be noteworthy.]

You all right?

[As was quite often the case, Eley was taking of his walks through the forest... only on this occasion he happens upon someone he hasn't seen for quite some time. Approaching from behind, he hasn't noticed anything particularly wrong with Spock just yet, but of course he's going to greet him. He calls out to him as he comes closer, tilting his head curiously.]

Spock? It has been quite some time since we last met.

[Spock stills his attempts at fumbling with the journal when he heard a most welcome voice. Turning his head, he addresses Eley.]

Eleytheria...
[What could he say? 'I'm glad to see you'? You're a sight for sore eyes'? I missed you'? Spock wanted to convey all of these things... however, he was Vulcan.]

It is.. most fortuitous to meet you here. I seem to be without the use of my hands.
[Spock looks pointedly at his frozen digits.]

Forty three days....
[Spock hummed in consideration... That was quite some time.]

I am relatively well... however, I am without the use of my hands. A rather... inconvenient gift from the Malnosso.
How are you?

[Spock was curious on how much he had missed... Plus, Darek was a friend, he found that he was looking forward to seeing him again.]

[Eley stood there for quite some time as if it hadn't really registered that he was still here yet. He had heard numerous times of people returning home and had spoken to friends about the pain of losing those people. He hadn't really thought he'd ever start missing someone like this himself...

Still, he has to shake those thoughts away for now because it was obvious that something had happened to the Vulcan during his absence.]

I... assume this was the doing of the Malnosso again. I hope the effect will not last too long.

Should I carry your journal for you for now? Do you wish to return home?

[Spock looks up at Eley... then stands, very much lacking in his usual grace.]

Yes... I would very much appreciate that.
[Spock looks down at the journal... and almost sighs. Something so simple, and yet, he couldn't even pick it up.]

How are you Eleytheria? [He looked at his friend curiously... ]

They didn't break them did they?

[There's a slightly sharp edge to that question, a hint of a man who is relatively protective of his friends.]

I'm...doing fine, actually.

[Several things had happened to make Luceti a lot more tolerable for the hunter since the last time they'd spoken.]

[Eley takes the journal for him, noting that sigh. He understands just how frustrating this must be for him... but for however long it lasts he would do what he could to help.

He starts to walk as they carry on their conversation.]

I have been well... for the most part. [There was slight hesitation there because certain things did still play on his mind from time to time.] But I have been constantly learning new things during your absence and attempting to talk to new people in the process. I even attended a 'speed dating' event though it was against my will... and I am not entirely sure if it was successful or not.

They did not... they are merely...

...frozen. I cannot move them, nor my wrists.
[Very inconvenient.

Spock lifted an eyebrow...]

"Fine" is a relative term that has various definitions... You will have to be more specific.
[Yeah... Spock can be annoying, but his heart is in the right place.... so to speak.]

[Spock walked amicably beside Eleytheria...
The Vulcan lifted an eyebrow.]

Speed dating? What is that exactly?

[The Vulcan had never heard of such a concept... perhaps there were some things that the god and Vulcan didn't understand about human rituals...]

[Oh dear... how was he going to explain this? He barely understood it himself. Well, all he could do was explain what happened in that case.]

We were allocated a list of participants upon arrival and had five minutes to sit and talk with each individual before moving to the next one. By the end of it we were supposed to have an idea of who we might wish to meet again in future.

Ah... but I know little about dating in the first place so I am afraid I cannot be much help in that regard. Tsuzuki showed me something about... holding hands while on a date.

[Yes, he sure is flying. But with flying for the first time with the power barrier, it takes a bit longer than Crona thought it would. So in no less than fifteen minutes, Crona will land right in front of him...quite gracefully.

And the only thing stranger than him flying, is having his wings drip...] ...H-hello..
