Personal Log #11 - Dazed and Confused [Voice/Action]
[Spock opened his eyes and held in the groan at the familiar sight of Luceti's forest. It took a moment for the Vulcan to organize his thoughts and realize what had happened...
Ah yes... He had been kidnapped once again.
Spock sat up, wary of the lingering effects from his visit with the Malnosso... and looked around for his Journal. Predictably it was laying innocently by his side... illogically he had hoped that it might have been lost. No matter.
Spock reached for it and stopped... realizing that something was wrong with his hand. It was... frozen. His long fingers stuck together, hand in the shape of a loose fist and refusing to move. The Vulcan's eyes widened in surprise as he checked his other hand, finding the exact same thing. What was he going to do? He could barely pick up the journal let alone use it properly.
The Vulcan fumbled with the journal, finally getting it to flop open on in his lap... ]
Greetings. I have been returned from my... visit... with the Malnosso. I require assistance. Is anyone there?
[Action]: Spock can be found in the woods without the use of his hands. He's going to need a lot of help, and Spock's not going to like it.
You can also catch him walking towards his place with his journal held awkwardly between his fists. Approach him if you dare.]
[OOC: When I originally went on Hiatus, I said that Spock was going to be on autopilot, however, I've needed to be away longer than originally planned. It was advised to me that I have Spock mallynapped to excuse him from not knowing everything that's gone down. Apparently I've missed wings... this upsets me greatly. XD]

Re: [Voice]
Miss Konan. It would seem that I am without the use of my hands.
[Spock hesitates... he really doesn't like asking for help for something so simple.]
I... cannot pick up my journal.
[Voice]
I can help you. Are you able to use your arms?
[It will be easier to devise a solution if it's his hands rather than his entire arms.]
Re: [Voice]
I am able to use my arms, yes. Perhaps I should 'kick' the journal into town...
[It would be less humiliating in the long run..]
[Voice]
Re: [Voice]
[There's some fumbling noises... and the distinct sound of the journal falling on the ground.
This is all followed by a 'sigh'...]
This might take some time...
While I attempt this, tell me... in my absence have you been well?
[Voice]
[Pause.]
I will come and help you, Spock. I'm certain that between the two of us, we can think of something to make things less inconvenient for you until you have the use of your hands again.
[Spock's quite intelligent, after all, and one doesn't succeed as a shinobi the way she has without being very resourceful.]
Re: [Voice]
Indeed... that would be wise. You have my thanks Miss Konan.
[It's guaranteed that together they can find a way more manageable than 'kicking the journal to town'.]
[Voice]
[Either way, her paper wings let her get to places fairly quickly, but the less she has to search, the better.]
Re: [Voice]
[Spock is silent. He very much dislikes asking for help. It's a combination of pride, and not wanting to be a burden on others.]
[Voice]
[She can tell that he doesn't want to ask, but she's hardly going to leave him to kick his journal across town. If there's no one home at the time that he arrives, he won't be able to turn the doorknob, either.]
[Voice/Action]
[Spock leans back against the tree to wait for Konan. Of course he's grateful, he's just not used to asking for help.
Ka'adith, what is, is.]
[Action]
I thought we could use this in the short term.
[She holds up the string, sturdy and not made of a material that will chafe.]
Re: [Action]
That was most thoughtful of you. Perhaps for now we can merely tie the journal to my wrist?
That will permit me to take it home where further assistance can be offered.
[Spock knew that Konan was a good person, but this was yet another reminder of how thoughtful she was.]
[Action]
Does that work?
Re: [Action]
Indeed, that will work quite well.
[The Vulcan lowers his arms and regards Konan.]
You have my thanks... I believe I am able to walk home unassisted, unlike the last time.
[Spock seems to hesitate for a moment...] This is the third time that you have helped me... is there anything that I may do for you?
[Action]
If you ever see a man with a full face mask with a circular or spiraling design on it around here, please send me a private message. He's extremely dangerous, and depending on what point in time he is from, may have reason to harm me.
Re: [Action]
I will indeed. Is he capable of harming you? [Because Spock has seen what Konan is capable of, and has seen how strong she strong she is.
What would it take for someone to be able to harm her?]
[Action]
...he is. I have a nasty scar from fighting with him.
Re: [Action]
This man was truly a danger to her? Well... he simply could not allow her to be hurt.]
I will indeed inform you if I see him... however Miss Konan...
If you find yourself in need of further assistance, especially when it comes to your safety, please do not hesitate to ask me.
[Spock's offer was genuine...]
[Action]
[She's even factored in the small possibility that his powers might not be reduced at all. It will be tremendously difficult, but she sees dealing with this enemy as her responsibility.]
Re: [Action]
[Being alone when help was available, was illogical. Spock knew Konan enough to accept whoever this person was, was indeed a threat.]
[Action]
[She can recognize that it's not entirely logical, but she understands the extent of what she's dealing with and she has a lot to atone for.]
Re: [Action]
Thank you for your assistance. I will contact you once my hands have regained their mobility. Perhaps we can have another game of chess.
[Spock makes an abortive move with his hand...]
Peace and long life to you Miss Konan, until next we meet.
