Personal Log #11 - Dazed and Confused [Voice/Action]
[Spock opened his eyes and held in the groan at the familiar sight of Luceti's forest. It took a moment for the Vulcan to organize his thoughts and realize what had happened...
Ah yes... He had been kidnapped once again.
Spock sat up, wary of the lingering effects from his visit with the Malnosso... and looked around for his Journal. Predictably it was laying innocently by his side... illogically he had hoped that it might have been lost. No matter.
Spock reached for it and stopped... realizing that something was wrong with his hand. It was... frozen. His long fingers stuck together, hand in the shape of a loose fist and refusing to move. The Vulcan's eyes widened in surprise as he checked his other hand, finding the exact same thing. What was he going to do? He could barely pick up the journal let alone use it properly.
The Vulcan fumbled with the journal, finally getting it to flop open on in his lap... ]
Greetings. I have been returned from my... visit... with the Malnosso. I require assistance. Is anyone there?
[Action]: Spock can be found in the woods without the use of his hands. He's going to need a lot of help, and Spock's not going to like it.
You can also catch him walking towards his place with his journal held awkwardly between his fists. Approach him if you dare.]
[OOC: When I originally went on Hiatus, I said that Spock was going to be on autopilot, however, I've needed to be away longer than originally planned. It was advised to me that I have Spock mallynapped to excuse him from not knowing everything that's gone down. Apparently I've missed wings... this upsets me greatly. XD]

Re: [Voice]
...he wouldn't mind the company. And it was going to take awhile for help to arrive.]
That is correct... I believe I am north east of the village square. I would be most..
...grateful for your company.
[Voice]
[She'd have to, with how many times the wolf has gone nosing around poor Spock's things. But Arya won't mention that just yet.]
Should we bring you anything? Are you hurt? Hungry?
Re: [Voice]
...that was something he means to rectify. The Vulcan rather enjoys animals. Nymeria is about the same size as his old pet Shelat. Spock misses I'Chaya frequently.]
Negative... it is only my hands that are causing me difficulty.
[Voice]
Re: [Voice]
[Yup, Spock was frustrated.... He was going to have to rely on the Captain for a lot of help while he was like this.]
[Voice]
Maybe it'll wear off before I get there. But if it doesn't... we can help.
Re: [Voice]
However, if this condition lasted for any length of time, the future did not bode well.]
I believe the human phrase to be applied here is 'wishful thinking'... nonetheless, I appreciate the assistance. I am certain I will require it.
[Voice]
We'll help. [And here she frowns, wrinkling her nose a bit.] And at least they didn't take off your hands.
[Because let's face it, these Malnosso aren't beyond anything.]
Re: [Voice]
Indeed, that would have been most unfortunate. I believe the Terran phrase is, 'it could be worse'....
Ka'adith. What is, is.
[Spock is slightly amused, he hasn't had a real opportunity to get to know Arya... The Vulcan believes that she would be quite the conversationalist.]
[Voice]
[She's so off-handed in her profanity that it's pretty clear she's not even really thinking about it. Also, she's gathering her things to go out and find him. There's not much to grab. Needle, the stiletto Sharpe had given her, a canteen and a small pack of jerky. And Nymeria, but the wolf handles herself.]
Re: [Voice]
Not just because then they could speak it in front of Jim and have him not understand what they were saying.
Wait... Camel's asses?]
I see... That is a rather fascinating designation. I presume that Captain Kirk did not teach you that colourful metaphor?
[Voice]
No, I learned that on the canals back home. I think it was from a sailor.
[Either a sailor or a whore. Possibly a mummer. It's hard to remember exactly who slung what insult, but she does remember which ones she likes the best.]
Re: [Voice]
[Spock was really curious about Arya now... Plus, this was a good way to pass the time while she made her way here.]
[Voice]
I did just before I woke up here. Before that, it was mainly just rivers and springs.
[King's Landing doesn't count. She almost wishes she never went there.]
[Voice/Action]
[The Vulcan waits by his tree... he's certain that it will not take Arya long to get here, especially with the wolf at hand.]
[Voice/Action]
[As her wolf sniffs and then takes off at a jog, Arya follows along. She's not sure she wants to get into the full details right now, even if they could be told in the time it would take to find him.]
I spent a while wandering the riverlands. Before that, I lived in the north. In Winterfell.
Re: [Voice/Action]
May I inquire as to where you acquired Nymeria?
[Voice/Action]
Winterfell. My brothers came home one day with the pups, one for each of us. Four boys and two girls.
[Jon might have considered himself and Ghost apart from the rest, but she sure didn't.]
Re: [Voice/Action]
[Spock often wondered whether or not the girl had any family waiting back home for her...
She was so independent for one so young.]
[Voice/Action]
I only had her for a few months before I had to chase her away. She would have been killed if I didn't. [There's still a twinge of guilt whenever she thinks about that.] It's been a long time since then. A few years. I only got her back when I got here.
Re: [Voice/Action]
I have once been told that animals respond only to what they are given. If an 'owner' has a lot of love to give, then that animal gives more in return.
[Did he just imply you were a loving person? Maybe~]
[Voice/Action]
Re: [Voice/Action]
I did not realize that you had such a large family. [The 'you must miss them' went without saying...]
[Voice/Action]
It isn't, anymore. There are only three of us now.
[Sansa still counts, married or not.]
Re: [Voice/Action]
I grieve with thee.
[It was a ritual Vulcan phrase, meant to give condolence to those who had lost someone.]
