[Spock was.... rather curious at the unexpected influx of individuals without wings...

In his mind, the Vulcan was making theories that included black holes, transporters, ion storms...It was frustrating that the nature of this world made it impossible to pin down any one theory.

Spock can be found traveling to the Dome in the morning, and working there for the rest of the day.
In the evening the Vulcan's curiosity gets the better of him and he stops by Seventh Heaven to see who all is there.]

[There's a young man there with a hot cup of tea and an air of unbridled curiosity hanging by the wall. He had given up his chair for another person, but that was alright by him. There were so many people around...]

The village itself is rather... quaint. However, the center of activity for the community is the Battle Dome.

A place with the technology to allow for simulation training. [Spock gestures to the door, so that they can go there.]

It's quaint, but kind of nice. It reminds me of some smaller towns on Earth, really. [Quatre followed the stranger, confident that he was trustworthy.] What kind of simulation training are we talking about...?

[Oh, a place called Seventh Heaven. That sounds interesting enough to warrant the Doctor's attention. So inside he'll go and start looking around before taking a seat off to himself, not far from a rather curious looking man with pointed ears. He looked a bit familiar, but Ten hadn't seen that particular movie yet...]

You are one of the 'newcomers'... [Spock knew by now that there was no use trying to question these individuals for information...]

My apologies, I am Spock.

The simulation exercises are limited to the universes exposed to this world. However, if one has programming experience, then the simulation is limited to the programmers imagination.

Are you familiar with simulation technology?

[The Doctor's face slid into a grin, a really really happy one. Spock? He was talking to Spock! First Obi-Wan Kenobi, now Spock? Well, wasn't he just glad the TARDIS had pulled him here in the first place? This place was weird but fictional characters being real was very, very interesting.]

[Spock regarded the reaction with curiosity.... but the tilted his head at the title...]

The Doctor of what, exactly?

[He shrugs. It was true enough, he was brilliant. And he knew it.]

[Spock gives the Doctor his full attention.]


That is a most curious answer... [Spock believes he can safely assume that he is either lying....

...or not completely human.

Spock gave the man another assessing look.]

Can I safely assume that you are not human?

I'm not familiar with simulation technology myself, its not something that's used on either Earth or the Colonies, but the idea of it has existed in tv shows and movies for a long time.

Is it really what we imagined it would be?

Fascinating... May I inquire as to what 'Time Lord' exactly entails? [Spock had never heard of that planet...Different universe perhaps.]

Colonies? What is the current date on your world?


[Spock considers his question...] I am uncertain... simulation technology has been available on the planet Vulcan for much longer than earth, so it is beyond my memory.

Perhaps you would care for a demonstration?

Time Lords were the masters of space and time. It's a lot to really explain, but suffice to say that much of the universe is the way it is because of Time Lords. Chronarchs, Dominus Temporis.

[He shrugs]

[Spock lifts an eyebrow... also a Latin scholar.]

You said 'were the masters of space and time'... are they no longer?

No, I'm the last.

[He looks away, his expression slightly harder than before.]

But I'd rather not talk about that, if you don't mind. It's a long story.

[His tone was calm and neutral, as if he expected the question.] And, if you don't mind? I'd love a demonstration.

[Spock's brown eyes become soft with concern...and grief.]

[After Colony? What happened on earth for it to be split into colonies once more....]

What happened 195 years ago on your earth?

[They were nearing the Dome, Spock opens the door for his companion gesturing for him to step inside.]

[He's not, but his smile returns. A defense mechanism, of a sort]

Tell me about you, Spock. I'm curious. You're definitely not human either.
