Personal Log #7
[Video]
Greetings and salutations. I believe that it is customary for one to welcome those who are newly arrived into Luceti.
Welcome.
To those who have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I can be found regularly at the Battle Dome for those who want to learn to utilize the simulations.
A reminder to everyone that the Kobayashi Maru simulation has been tested and is ready for public use. I will express my thanks to Mister Obi-Wan Kenobi, Miss Ami Mizuno, and Miss Lirael for testing the program for me.
I also find myself requiring assistance for a project that I have agreed to.... though I find myself now at an impasse. I am currently working on a small scale version of projected diburnium-osmium shield technology... with some minor alterations. If anyone is familiar with this or is willing to help, please inform me.
Peace and long life.
[Action]
[Spock found himself once again frustrated by the recent memory lapse... for one who highly values mental discipline, it is... unnerving to find that your mind has been tampered with. However, Spock has long ago come to terms with this place and its disregard for dignity.
In the morning Spock can be found at the Dome by the computer terminals...but in the late afternoon strange, hauntingly beautiful music can be heard coming from House #2's backyard.
The Vulcan was pleased to have completed his Lyre, and was now enjoying an afternoon of practice.
In the evening, Spock actually ventures out to Seventh Heaven and can be found at a solitary table with a cup of tea.
Come and bother Spock at any and all of these locations.]

Re: [voice]
Very much like his own...]
[voice]
I'd be very happy to do that, to the best of my ability.
Re: [voice]
And I felt rather helpless when my Captain returned from a kidnapping. [Spock's fingers nervously twitched along the lyre...]
[voice]
Re: [voice]
[Spock hesitates once more...]
Miss Mizuno, have you heard the rumours of certain individuals having discovered the way home?
[voice]
That type of rumor seems to circulate every so often. There's no conclusive proof of it, and...
I'd like to believe, if it were true, they'd find a way to tell the rest of us, too.
Re: [voice]
Though I cannot help but think that.. it would not be so bad to stay...
[Spock's voice is also wistful...]
[voice]
But it might not be that simple.
Re: [voice]
Vulcans place high importance on mental capabilities and strength... To have anything tamper with my mind is an unmentionable crime.
[Spock gives Ami a meaningful look...] And to know that I am to forget everything that I have experience here...
...it is almost enough to make me want to stay.
[voice]
However, I do want to go home.
Re: [voice]
Such is the way with strong mind-melds, you know a person.]
[voice]
Re: [voice]
Indeed... I regard you as a friend as well....Ami.
[That might be the first time he has ever addressed her by her first name...]
[voice]
What shall I call you?
Re: [voice]
My full name is S'chn T'gai Spohkh... [The sounds that Spock makes is foreign and guttural...
Though if you do not mind dropping the honorifics... you can simply call me Spock. [That's what his mother called him anyways..]
[voice]
Spock, then. And in that case, please call me Ami also.
Re: [voice]
Would you be amenable to a cup of tea at this time? Perhaps followed by a game of chess? Lyre lessons can wait until you have acquainted yourself with the basics.
[voice]
I'd like that very much.
Re: [voice]
When he stood he gestured for her to enter the house first.
He was... glad to have found a friend in Ami.]
[ooc: ;v; soo adorable! May as well fade here m'dear~]
