Greetings and salutations. I believe that it is customary for one to welcome those who are newly arrived into Luceti.

Welcome.

To those who have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I can be found regularly at the Battle Dome for those who want to learn to utilize the simulations.

A reminder to everyone that the Kobayashi Maru simulation has been tested and is ready for public use. I will express my thanks to Mister Obi-Wan Kenobi, Miss Ami Mizuno, and Miss Lirael for testing the program for me.

I also find myself requiring assistance for a project that I have agreed to.... though I find myself now at an impasse. I am currently working on a small scale version of projected diburnium-osmium shield technology... with some minor alterations. If anyone is familiar with this or is willing to help, please inform me.

[Spock found himself once again frustrated by the recent memory lapse... for one who highly values mental discipline, it is... unnerving to find that your mind has been tampered with. However, Spock has long ago come to terms with this place and its disregard for dignity.

In the morning Spock can be found at the Dome by the computer terminals...but in the late afternoon strange, hauntingly beautiful music can be heard coming from House #2's backyard.
The Vulcan was pleased to have completed his Lyre, and was now enjoying an afternoon of practice.

In the evening, Spock actually ventures out to Seventh Heaven and can be found at a solitary table with a cup of tea.

Come and bother Spock at any and all of these locations.]

Mister Mithos? I am Spock.

[Spock now knew the face behind the name...]

It been quite awhile since our last conversation... Are you well?

[He's about to object to Spock tacking such formality onto his name, until that last bit knocks him off course.] Our...last conversation?

I don't think we've ever spoken before... [His mind flips through everyone he's met over the last few days, and he's sure he hasn't spoken with Spock until now.]

[Spock did not know what Mithos looked like, so he had no idea the change he had undergone...

But perhaps it was a memory issue? That happened a lot in Luceti.]

I see... our conversation took place approximately two month ago. [Spock was testing Mithos... to see if it was indeed a memory lapse.]

I've only been here a few days... Are you sure you're not thinking of someone else? [Twice he's been mistaken for someone else since he arrived, so maybe...?]

The last conversation I had with one Mithos Yggdrasill was written over the journals.
If it was indeed you, then you were showing signs of severe mental distress bordering on depression and suicidal tendencies.

[Spock eyed the young man... wondering what his reaction would be.]

[His eyes are wide in confusion and a horrified curiosity he's afraid to feed.] That's my name, but... [He shakes his head.] I don't understand. I've never set foot here until this week.

Fascinating...

Luceti is an interesting phenomenon. I arrived here approximately six months ago... yet there are those here who have informed me that I was here for a year previous to that.. yet I have no memory of that occurrence.

My friends didn't tell me that I'd been here before... [And besides that...mental distress? Depression? Suicidal tendencies? That can't be him, it just doesn't make any sense. His mind spins violently.]

Perhaps they were trying to protect you... in which case I understand.

I apologise if I have caused you any distress. Would you care to join me for tea? [Spock notices Mithos' distress.... and wants to distract him from it.

Tea... always the fall-back plan.]

[Maybe...maybe it's just a coincidence. A descendant. Anyone but himself-- The offer of tea is unexpected, and he answers in a distracted voice.] Are you sure? I wouldn't want to impose.

Of course. [Spock stands, and gestures to the house...]

[He nods and follows Spock's gesture. It's strange, just being invited into someone's house like this - he continues to be astounded by how kind and generous the people here can be.] Thank you.

[Spock nods and gives Mithos a small smile.]
