Personal Log #7
[Video]
Greetings and salutations. I believe that it is customary for one to welcome those who are newly arrived into Luceti.
Welcome.
To those who have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I can be found regularly at the Battle Dome for those who want to learn to utilize the simulations.
A reminder to everyone that the Kobayashi Maru simulation has been tested and is ready for public use. I will express my thanks to Mister Obi-Wan Kenobi, Miss Ami Mizuno, and Miss Lirael for testing the program for me.
I also find myself requiring assistance for a project that I have agreed to.... though I find myself now at an impasse. I am currently working on a small scale version of projected diburnium-osmium shield technology... with some minor alterations. If anyone is familiar with this or is willing to help, please inform me.
Peace and long life.
[Action]
[Spock found himself once again frustrated by the recent memory lapse... for one who highly values mental discipline, it is... unnerving to find that your mind has been tampered with. However, Spock has long ago come to terms with this place and its disregard for dignity.
In the morning Spock can be found at the Dome by the computer terminals...but in the late afternoon strange, hauntingly beautiful music can be heard coming from House #2's backyard.
The Vulcan was pleased to have completed his Lyre, and was now enjoying an afternoon of practice.
In the evening, Spock actually ventures out to Seventh Heaven and can be found at a solitary table with a cup of tea.
Come and bother Spock at any and all of these locations.]

Re: ^.^
Of course, it would be my pleasure to help you. [The Vulcan leans forward and works on the panel for a moment...
Then backs up with a satisfied smirk.] I believe that you will find everything with your specifications. Was there anything else you needed assistance with?
no subject
No. If there is anything else, I'll let you know. [He had been watching Spock, and goes to turn the gravity to 300 times normal gravity before entering the chamber.] Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a lot of work ahead of me.
no subject
No matter.]
Very well.... good day to you Prince Vegeta.
so I guess the gravity can't go past 10x. Ewps, didn't know that
hehe~ I don't mind. ^_^
Prince Vegeta... how did the simulation go?
\o/
It went fine. [Twitch.] But these simulations are incredibly inadequate to my needs. It seems that even a rodent could complete most of them. Even in the increased gravity it's not much of a challenge.
6v6
I may be of some assistance to you in this matter.

It may be possible to alter your physical form so that the simulations are more effective.
What is your opinion?
no subject
No way! They should be designing better simulations, I shouldn't have to alter myself in order to get anything out of it! [Regardless, the concept was interesting.]
Alter in what way?
no subject
Biology however is more of a possibility. What I am referring to is 'strength repressants.'
Your only other option would be to utilize the surrounding Luceti forest to... lift boulders perhaps. [Smug Vulcan grin.]

Whatever extraordinary power you had in your own universe, you will find that it has greatly diminished here.
As a Vulcan, I normally have three times the strength of an average human... in Luceti it has diminished to half of that. [Spock was not going to go into how his telepathic power has diminished as well... ]
I doubt you would be able to obliterate a mountain range.

There are many forms of strength Prince Vegeta... Might I suggest that you utilize another form of exercise?
Perhaps utilizing your mind?
no subject

What I suggest is indefinitely more productive.
Meditation Prince Vegeta... what is your opinion of it?
no subject
no subject
It is obvious that you are strong... Perhaps now it would be wise to learn when not use your muscles.
no subject

...Considering Vegeta's lack of manners? Spock isn't convinced.]
Very well. However, since you far surpass any strength testing simulation we have here, I am of no help to you.
That is unless of course you are willing to subject yourself to medication that would decrease your physical strength, therefore causing the simulations to be more difficult for you.
no subject
[He's ready to leave, so he'll power down now- no need to stay in that form anymore.] Perhaps I'll have to start designing my own simulations then, since no one around here can do it.
no subject
Your capacity to assume is astounding.
I am quite familiar with simulation programming, however, your attitude thus far has been less than satisfactory.
However, just as you have pointed out, there is no way to increase the strength of the simulations...

Perhaps it has escaped you that you are in a prison, 'prince' Vegeta. Do you not believe, that as an avid scientist, that I would not have exhausted every possibility to try to escape or improve our situation via computers?
I am here everyday attempting to do just that... However, the Malnosso are quite thoroughly involved in the system and have proven to be very manipulative.
They are also very creative in their punishments to those who get too close. [And yes, Spock is speaking from experience.]
Perhaps you would care to listen to the algorithms and processes that are involved in order to 'hack' and change the system? It is quite complex... but you will have to pay attention, because certain details may escape you.
[Yes, Spock was pissed in his own Vulcan way.
Did he just insult you? That's for you to decide.]
