Personal Log #7
[Video]
Greetings and salutations. I believe that it is customary for one to welcome those who are newly arrived into Luceti.
Welcome.
To those who have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I can be found regularly at the Battle Dome for those who want to learn to utilize the simulations.
A reminder to everyone that the Kobayashi Maru simulation has been tested and is ready for public use. I will express my thanks to Mister Obi-Wan Kenobi, Miss Ami Mizuno, and Miss Lirael for testing the program for me.
I also find myself requiring assistance for a project that I have agreed to.... though I find myself now at an impasse. I am currently working on a small scale version of projected diburnium-osmium shield technology... with some minor alterations. If anyone is familiar with this or is willing to help, please inform me.
Peace and long life.
[Action]
[Spock found himself once again frustrated by the recent memory lapse... for one who highly values mental discipline, it is... unnerving to find that your mind has been tampered with. However, Spock has long ago come to terms with this place and its disregard for dignity.
In the morning Spock can be found at the Dome by the computer terminals...but in the late afternoon strange, hauntingly beautiful music can be heard coming from House #2's backyard.
The Vulcan was pleased to have completed his Lyre, and was now enjoying an afternoon of practice.
In the evening, Spock actually ventures out to Seventh Heaven and can be found at a solitary table with a cup of tea.
Come and bother Spock at any and all of these locations.]

Re: [Action]
Mister Beast... it is obvious that something is troubling you. I believe that to deal with a personal issue, it is wise to share it with someone you trust.
If you cannot share it with me, I encourage you to find someone with whom you can share it with.
[Spock regards the other man, holding him in a calculating gaze. Spock would not be offended if Beast doesn't speak with him, he's not that kind of Vulcan.
Instead, Spock gently picks at the strings of his Lyre... a melodic tune drifting around them as he watches the stranger creature bounding through his backyard.]
[Action]
So instead he shifts his feet and unknowingly shuffles through to change positions in the slightest. He doesn't understand, what is it he did wrong?
It is not long before the silence, the lack of speaking, becomes unbearable for him, and looking over at the footstool who still hasn't stopped digging through and rolling in the frosted ground he suddenly blurts it out:] It d-doesn't... bother, you?
Re: [Action]
Sitting down again, Spock gestures for Beast to take a seat on the bench.]
There are very few things that 'bother' me Mister Beast.
[Action]
That's not implying anything is it?Finally, though, he takes up on Spock's offer and ignores his curiosity, resting himself on the bench nonetheless.]
Only... few?
Re: [Action]
[Spock eyed Beast.... was he trying to change the subject?]
[Action]
The word "illogical" is a complicated one for him anyway, so he gets back to his original point.] Well it... to... to me, he... [A glance toward Sultan.] can be... s-sometimes.
[He looks down. After what Spock had said, he can't tell if being bothered by a dog is all that good of him.]
Re: [Action]
....what?
The Vulcan makes a small sound, perhaps in frustration but he would never admit it.]
Mister Beast, I believe I have misinterpreted your emotions. Please forgive me.
I must admit though, individuals have often claimed that I am classified as a 'quiet' person... however, you 'take the prize' in that category.
[Spock's lips twitch in a small smile as he regards Beast. A little light teasing never hurt anyone, right?]
[Action]
H-he... can be... uh...
You can close us up if you like~
I believe a change in subject is in order. Perhaps you would care to join me in a hot beverage? Please... come inside. It is getting rather cold outside.
[Spock opens the door, and warmly welcomes Beast into his home.]
Sounds good to me~ ^^
