Intro Log - Voice/Action

[Illogical does not even begin to characterize the situation that Spock has found himself in. Approximately 2.4 minutes ago he was on the bridge of the USS Enterprise, and through some, as of yet unexplained phenomenon taking no time at all, (possibly through some spacial anomaly or undetected ion storm) suddenly appeared inverted in a tree... Current conditions also leave much to be desired. Spock's Vulcan physiology requires higher temperatures, and proper garments for optimal comfort... the forest in which he is now located has a lower than optimal temperature, and coupled with the disappearance of his Uniform and thermal wear he finds himself rather... cold. Though, perhaps it is fortuitous that he appeared in clothes at all... the white pants will have to suffice.
Upon his initial assessment, and descent from the tree, he was amazed to see an alteration to his physical person]

...Fascinating.

[Spock cards his fingers through the feathered protrusions located in the area of his scapula. Since he could feel a rather curious sensation through manual stimulus of the ...wings, Spock can safely assume they are indeed his newly acquired appendages. He could not fail to notice that his wings are the same ebony color his hair is.
Taking in his surroundings, Spock could hear the sound of running water close by... but nothing significant that could give him evidence of his location. The terrain was similar to that of Earth, however, there was 'something' about them that Spock could not quite explain that told him 'no, this is not Earth'...
As he was about to venture towards the water in hopes of finding civilization, something catches his attention... it appears to be some form of recording device located at the base of the tree in which he just descended from. Picking up the device he also notices that it has his name on it and it appears to be active. Curious... This proves that he was indeed sent here on purpose. But why?
Spock finally decides to speak out loud.]

Greetings, I am Spock. Is there a conscious form of life out there that can tell me my current location?

[Spock moves closer to Miss Grune to see what she is selecting for him....]

May I ask what you have found so far?

[She holds up one of the shirts she had been looking at. It's totally him, right?]

[Both of Spock's eyebrows have made there way up into his hairline...]

That is, I believe, canary yellow? Is that not a bit ostentatious?

[Spock may be reconsidering asking for Grune's aid in choosing his clothing...]

Oh, I think it's nice. It's very cheerful!

[...Wait, she understood the word "ostentanious"?]

[Spock gives her a look but takes in her innocence and cheerful demeanor....and caves.]

Indeed...this shade of yellow has been designated as 'cheerful'... Would you be amenable to finding me a pair of regulation black pants while I try this on?

[Spock moves towards the changing rooms questioning all the while what he got himself in to....]

[Grune beams at his acceptance, not really noticing how reluctant it is.]

All right! I'll do my best!

[And off she heads.]

[In the changing room Spock puts on the yellow shirt and looks in the mirror....

Ka'adith.... Spock starts to contemplate politely leaving Grune and simply gathering his preferred attire...

However he finds himself rather fond of Grune's happiness. He will persevere.
Spock steps out of the changing room clad in yellow shirt and moves towards Grune.]

Does this look presentable?

[Spock, you are a kind soul. Especially since her response is to look absolutely delighted with what he's wearing.]

Oh, yes, you look very good!

[Spock looks a little taken aback and his cheeks flush a light green...but still gives her the eyebrow.]

My thanks. [Spock glances at the various colours that Grune is currently going through...] But perhaps black pants will suffice?

[Grune looks up and gives his green cheeks a mildly curious look. What a pretty colour!]

Oh, do you think so?

Indeed.... another colour may be... clashing perhaps? However... would you be amenable to selecting my socks while I find the rest of what I need?

[Spock assumed that it was a safe notion... because no one could see your socks if your pants were the proper size.]

All right! I'll find you some nice ones.

[Good plan, Spock.]

[Spock watched her retreating...enthusiastic figure and picked up a black coat to put over his yellow shirt and black pants.

He was in the changing room once more and wondered idly if there were any other beings like Grune in Luceti.]

[Like her, yes--but not exactly like her.

In the meantime, Grune has found these for Spock to try on. They're so cheerful!]

[Spock steps once more out of the changing room... though this time fully dressed minus socks...and carrying a pair of shoes.

He approaches Grune who is holding a wad of...interestingly coloured fabric.
Spock gives her a flat look...]

Are..those the socks you have picked out?

[And Grune beams right back.]

Yes, that's right. Aren't they nice?

[...Spock turns a little green from the blush that started. His Vulcan up-bringing was telling him to explain logically that those socks were entirely illogical.

However... given the situation, it would probably be best to just put the socks on...

So he does.

Spock finishes up by slipping on the shoes and standing straight once more.]

Your assistance has been much appreciated Miss Grune, I thank thee. [Spock bows his head a little.....and then he looks a little unsure of what to do next. He is disinclined to just leave Grune here...]

May I escort you home?

[Once again, she looks all but overjoyed by the suggestion. It really doesn't take much to make her happy, does it?]

Oh, I'd like that very much! Then we can get to know each other even better.

[Spock quirks an eyebrow then nods and gestures towards the door....]

[Walking outside he questions Grune...]

Are you able to tell me about your homeland?

[She heads towards the exit, saying:] Oh, I'm from the Legacy! It's a very nice place. Where are you from?

[That was definitely all the information he was looking for, right?]

[Spock nods in response... though he realizes his questions was not fully answered. He will continue regardless.]

I am from the planet Vulcan. It is primarily a desert planet with higher ambient temperatures due to its two suns. Though I also share a secondary home on a planet called Earth... specifically in San Francisco. Starfleet has its base there and I am a member of its ranks.

You mentioned before that you were labeled a 'force'.... could you expand on that? [Because you know... Spock was curious.]

[Grune listens contentedly to everything he says. The likelihood of her remembering any of this is pretty damn low, but hey.

She's wandered off a bit into her own thoughts at this point, so his question catches her unaware.]

Hmm?

[Spock is beginning to question the logic of asking Miss Grune....anything.

However, Spock gives her a warm half-smile and repeats the question.]

You said you were a 'force'... I am curious as to what that means.

[Unfortunately, Spock is going to have to remain curious for a while longer, because....]

Oh, I don't know. [She seems not at all bothered by having no clue about what she actually is.] That's what Moro said.

I...see.

[The information seems to 'click' into place for Spock...]
