Personal Log #11 - Dazed and Confused [Voice/Action]

[Spock opened his eyes and held in the groan at the familiar sight of Luceti's forest. It took a moment for the Vulcan to organize his thoughts and realize what had happened...

Ah yes... He had been kidnapped once again.

Spock sat up, wary of the lingering effects from his visit with the Malnosso... and looked around for his Journal. Predictably it was laying innocently by his side... illogically he had hoped that it might have been lost. No matter.
Spock reached for it and stopped... realizing that something was wrong with his hand. It was... frozen. His long fingers stuck together, hand in the shape of a loose fist and refusing to move. The Vulcan's eyes widened in surprise as he checked his other hand, finding the exact same thing. What was he going to do? He could barely pick up the journal let alone use it properly.

The Vulcan fumbled with the journal, finally getting it to flop open on in his lap... ]

Greetings. I have been returned from my... visit... with the Malnosso. I require assistance. Is anyone there?

[Action]: Spock can be found in the woods without the use of his hands. He's going to need a lot of help, and Spock's not going to like it.
You can also catch him walking towards his place with his journal held awkwardly between his fists. Approach him if you dare.]

[OOC: When I originally went on Hiatus, I said that Spock was going to be on autopilot, however, I've needed to be away longer than originally planned. It was advised to me that I have Spock mallynapped to excuse him from not knowing everything that's gone down. Apparently I've missed wings... this upsets me greatly. XD]

[Spock's eyebrows twitched in concern... and stepped up to Crona...]

You have no need to be ashamed...
Acquiring a social aptitude takes practice... staying in your home negates such exposure. I would suggest that you put more effort into interacting with others.

From personal experience, I have found that having... friends... helps in many ways.

[Spock was about to argue again.... but shuts his mouth audibly.

[Spock is embarrassed... if the blush on his cheeks is any indication. He merely nods at Ami's comment... grateful for her concern.

However, he does look down pointedly at his journal where he had managed to successfully drop it open on his lap...
He looks beseechingly up at Ami... could you pick it up please? His hands were tied... so to speak.]

It's not very easy. I grew up only knowing a few people, and they were all mean. [And he stops himself there. He could go on a very long tangent, but that won't help anything.]

...The last time I went out to the village, I was being chased by a bunny. [That's what he gets for going outside. It's a sign...]

As always, the Malnosso have left me in a less than optimal state of mental balance, and it will take some rather extensive meditation to gain my mental shields once more...
...but yes, I am relatively fine. Thank you.

[Yup, Vulcan's were weird.]

May I ask what has transpired to make you feel more... at peace here in luceti?
[Spock was truly curious about this... he wanted to know what had caused this.]

Was this perhaps a... different form of bunny? [Spock was thinking about the fluffy little thing that couldn't really hurt you if it tried. Why was Crona talking negatively about that?]

No, it was just a bunny...my mom made sure I wouldn't like them.

Yeah, well, I know what it's like to come out of it, and you more than me. So come on. You need some food, some water, and a good bath. Though... I guess if you can't use your hands we're going to have to work out something about that.

[You could ask directly, Spock. Then again, Ami's not good at being direct herself, always. She's learned how, but it's still hard for her to be forceful.

So she picks up the journal.] I'll bring it with us.

[ Even though the journals are not on video, she still slightly shakes her head. ]

It's alright. It sounds like you have your reasons.

[He hadn't really thought about it before. Thinking back to what had happened the past few months, there wasn't anything particularly life-changing that had happened that he could recall. Though he did notice a more positive trend when it came to interacting with others...]

I suppose I have simply taken the advice of my friends. Tsuzuki made me realise that I do wish to become more involved here and I have been trying to gain new skills while I learn alongside others. I have made friends and... I trust them, something which I have not given much of back on Aether. I have even had a tree planted in my name, something which has given me a new sense of purpose in Luceti. It is mine to protect and nurture.

I do not want to sit by and do nothing any longer. I have free will as much as any human.

That's an interesting after effect. Cheer up Spock, it could be worse, after all. [Yep, not as bad as being a woman. His tone is still a bit snide, enjoying the fact that at least Spock had to suffer with something at least.]

[Grune is just getting a little bit of gardening done--or, well, a whole lot of gardening done--and checking in on the journals every so often when she gets distracted. The moment she hears that voice asking for help, though...well, it looks as though gardening time is over.]

Oh, yes, of course I'll help you, Spock. I'll be right there.

[Wherever "there" is, anyway.]

[Spock's eyebrows twitch in concern...]

May I inquire as to...how?

[Spock nearly spluttered at that... He had nearly forgot that part..

...he would need aid in many things.]

C-captain, I am certain that I can bathe by myself..
[Spock, see reason, you can't even take your clothes off by yourself.]

[Spock inclines his head...]

[The Vulcan begins to walk towards town.] For research purposes, may I inquire as to the most inconvenient effect the Malnosso inflicted upon you?

Feeling.. .[The Vulcan murmured the word in an almost-amused voice.]

I am feeling relatively well, thank you. Though I must admit to a strong feeling of frustration... I should be able to contain this feeling more sufficiently, though it is proving difficult at the moment.

[Spock regarded Eleytheria with a small half-smile. Here was a being, a god that was very far removed from human social behaviour...

....and it was an honour to see him flourish and grow comfortable with himself and those around him. Spock found that he was...
..proud of Eleytheria.]

That is most agreeable Eleytheria... to borrow a human phrase, 'you have come a long way' since we first met.
May I inquire as to the tree? Why was it planted for you?

[Oh yeah? The Vulcan can't bathe himself, or get dressed without help....
...have fun talking to Kirk after that.]

[Spock hesitated for a moment...]
Have you had... dealings with the Captain since my departure?

[Spock straightened from his seat on the ground upon hearing Grune's voice... it was a very welcome one.

But...]

Are you certain you can find me? Perhaps it would be wise if I come to you.

If you don't mind my asking... what exactly happened to you?

[ She tries her best to not make herself sound... nervous. The thought of being trapped up in a large medical facility being experimented on with no way out until they allow is doesn't settle so well with her. ]

[The Spirit was obviously in a good mood as he shared a slight smile himself this time. It was something he still hadn't done very often... but lately he had found it happening without him really noticing. He was becoming increasingly... content, here in Luceti.]

I had been toying with the idea of having my birthday on the day of the Wind Festival, as we discussed. I spoke with Helios about this and about what it might involve. On Agkelos, the people planted a kind of willow tree for me and the festival was held whenever the blooms showed themselves and began to glow. This is the tree upon which they would hang wishes and prayers, waiting for me to answer.

[He pauses, letting Spock take that all in.]

Helios located the seed of a willow tree here in Luceti and enchanted it with magic. Once it has grown and the flowers have bloomed, they should glow just as they did back on Agkelos.

[And staring back at the ground. He looks like a kid that's getting scolded.]

...She made me kill them...

Ah, well... [Ami pauses as though searching her mind to decide which one that would be.] I've been here awhile, so, there have been a lot of things they've done.

[Determined nod.] We can find you. Nymeria knows your scent.

[She'd have to, with how many times the wolf has gone nosing around poor Spock's things. But Arya won't mention that just yet.]

Should we bring you anything? Are you hurt? Hungry?
