Personal Log #2/Action Post - A Week After Amnesia Event
[Spock is sitting on his bed and he stares at the journal which is currently residing on the desk across from him.
Spock had woken up this morning and knew he was alone in the house....his Captain was gone. And he knew that he had been taken... and Spock could feel that Captain Kirk was in pain...wherever he was.
Spock wondered at the futility of putting out a community-wide announcement to see if anyone had further information on Kirk's whereabouts. Spock was also rather disinclined to leave his house considering the damage he had inflicted during the bout of amnesia... he had not left the house in approximately 3.6 days. What if he had met someone he had 'assaulted'?
Spock puts his head down at that thought...he can recall his father's lectures on privacy and using telepathy on psy-null beings...these offenses were a severe violation and punishable in Vulcan society. If his home-planet still existed he would be outcast! The crimes he committed! It only proved that as a Vulcan, he was.... a poor example.
Spock abruptly gets up and starts to pace through the room. His meditation lately has left much to be desired, though it did resolve a rather significant issue. The link that he had forc...established with Mister Lupin was familial in nature and fairly easy to control. Lupin would not have to be burdened with this as long as Spock was able to keep his shields in place.
But the meditation itself? The effects from the physical contact had left Spock at mental loose ends. The memories and emotional transference...well, it left him emotionally compromised, and the nature of the contact made it rather difficult to resolve.
Spock's pacing slowed as he considered the other encounters he had...he was a disgrace... the things that happened, the beings he took advantage of... and he will never be able to look at the couch the same again.
He put his head in his hands and sat back down on the bed...there had to be a logical resolution to this...perhaps he needed, as they say, a 'change in scenery'. He looks up and glares a little at the journal. His frustration levels begin to rise once more.
.....everything....everything about Spock has been 'unraveling' since landing in Luceti. He has not felt this exposed since he was emotionally compromised on the Enterprise...and he was ashamed then too. Spock abruptly stands once more and stalks towards the desk. In a fit of anger he slams both fists down on either side of the journal... unknowingly turning it on. The wood splinters cut into his hands, but he does not feel it. The frustration has built into a blinding rage and he manages to shout in Vulcan...]
Nam-tor nash-veh sasu t’ek’kayik sut!
[Then he picks up the bed-side bureau and throws it out the window making a fantastic display of shattered glass and the deafening silence that follows the explosion of sound....
Spock stands amid the mess and just breaths...]

Re: [unhackable]
There was a part of Spock's mind that was telling him that he should be concerned, but he seemed to be experiencing some form of overload. For now he just concentrates on breathing....]
[unhackable]
Lupin took a deep breath, preparing himself for the worst. Spock had been abducted, and that wasn't a complication that he wanted to deal with right yet. He grabbed the book--and had to steady himself on the wall as his focus strayed from keeping tabs on his relative location as it concerned the floor beneath his feet.]
Stay where you're at if you're still there. I'm coming over. Now.
[He had to split his focus between locating Spock and avoiding obstacles as he tried to calculate the quickest path. Just...rely on instincts, like he always did. This would be fun.]
no subject
Spock looks up at the window as if realizing for the first time that it was broken.....he was a danger.]
no subject
Sleep would come later. This was more important.]
no subject
But the environment should not have this dramatic effect on his psyche...he worked on a starship, the epitome of dealing with high-stress situations. Perhaps it was just, as they say, bad-luck. But that was highly illogical...
Spock hand balled into a fist...perhaps the mountains were not that bad of an idea after-all...
no subject
Curious.
There were no other signs of a struggle that he could see, but he whipped out his Walther without a second thought as he sidled up and pressed an ear against the front door. The possibility of there being a further threat within its walls was enough of a concern. As he was in that moment, he couldn't take any attacker.]

Instead Spock finds himself sliding down the wall and coming to sit amidst the glass under the windowsill. He rests his arms on his knees and his head rests on the wall behind him and he closes his eyes.]
no subject
He pushed himself away, wavering for a second before he found a brace against the door itself, and quietly steeled his mind for what was to come. While he had his lockpicks in their customary places (in his sleeves, under his lapels) his focus was too off for such delicate work. Force was necessary, and years of forced entries had taught him some rougher tricks.
With a sharp inhale he pushed away from the door and recalled his hours of training with Smoker. The Marine had been working with him on compensating for the Penalty in regards to the usual kickboxing. Just focus on a visual anchor--
His leg snapped out in a sharp kick against the door knob, effectively knocking it loose. The same action likewise knocked him down.
By the grace of his skills as a thief, it was a soft fall. He wasn't hurt. The whirlwind that snared him needed to settle before he could do much more for the moment, and he inwardly cursed the Malnosso once again for their meddling.]
You're breaking into my house! XD lawl
Desperate times, desperate measures.
Spock? [His voice, aided by that little device that Spock had given him, sounded strange to his own ears.] Spock, are you in?
haha, and together we make a pretty impressive mess. >_<
Spock foot moves a little and disturbs a few pieces of glass, the small movement making and impressive noise in stillness.]
because we're terrible!
He didn't like what he saw.]
And I wouldn't change a damn thing! XD
Spock makes eyecontact....]
....Arsene?
no subject
Good god, what did you do?
[He picked his way across the glass, mindful of obstacles, and knelt before Spock. He reached for Spock's hands with his own, covered in gloves for both of their safety. Lupin couldn't assess the damage, but he knew that he would need to clean up before he could know anything.]
no subject
Why...why are you here?
[Spock seems to recognize that Arsene is looking at his hands and allows him easier access by lightly lifting them...]
no subject
[It was the simplest explanation. His voice sounded fairly normal when he spoke in softer, lower tones he noticed, and made a mental note to work on that later. First, he needed to get Spock up and into the bathroom to properly wash up.
He lightly pulled at the arm he held, as if coaxing some kind of reaction.]
Can you stand? I'm not sure that I can lift you...
no subject
[Spock does so and allows himself to be lead into the bathroom, his uniform dropping bits of wood and glass along the way.
...but he stops just before they enter the bathroom....]
Wait, Arsene... you should not be here. I am a danger and I cannot trust my emotions at this present time. You should leave me before anything happens.
no subject
That's why I'm here. Don't worry, I'll be fine.
[Lupin turned the water on and gently guided Spock's hands underneath it. His own gloves would get wet, but it was a small price to pay.]
no subject
gloves? That is what Lupin is worried about? Spock cannot help but scoff a little at that...]
You do realize Arsene that in my current emotional state, a telepathic incident would be the least of your worries? Besides, with my memories in tact, it would take a rather significant amount of physical contact to induce or encourage any psy connection between us.
[Spock's fingers curl and flex under the water...]

[He's taken beatings before and lived, survived torture, near drowning, and being shot on the rooftop of a castle that resulted in near-fatal blood loss. Even with the current complications, he had enough faith in Spock to know that nothing would happen. Lupin pulled one of Spock's hands out from under the flow and examined the injuries. The wounds were superficial, that much he could tell, but that left him with the curious problem of wondering if topical antibiotics would even work...
He grabbed a towel and shut the water off, sat Spock down on the covered toilet and wrapped his hands up before he set to work looking for bandages of some kind.]
The link's all ready there, right? It's a non-issue. It sounds like the issue here is that you're not dealing with any emotions properly. I'm no counselor, but it sounds like you need a better outlet. Or a vacation. Both could work.
no subject
Perhaps you are correct...
[Spock notices Lupin looking for the first-aid kit and opens the cupboard under the sink and gestures towards a box with a familiar cross on it.]
What do you suggest?
no subject
There's an onsen in the mountains. It's a natural hot spring that's been converted into a spa...and, since it's getting cold, that could be fun. [Hell, he'd even be willing to see how the trip affected the inner ear difficulties that were a side effect of his Penalty. For the sake of watching Spock? He could handle it.]
For now, though...are you here alone? Because you're coming back to my apartment for a few nights if you are.
no subject
I...yes I am. My Captain is...[Spock's voice trails off and attempts a change...]
I refuse to be a further burden to you. I am quite capable of living here. You also have a significant other to consider.
no subject
It's not a burden, and I know Fujiko won't mind. She can take care of herself, you know.
[He looked up, carefully searching Spock's eyes for some kind of hint, a clue...]
You're not stable emotionally right now. That's why you're coming with me.
...Kirk. Are his belongings still here?
no subject
The Captain's belongings are still here....he was..
He was taken. He is being experimented on...and he is in pain. [Spock puts his head in his free hand...]
