Personal Log #7

Greetings and salutations. I believe that it is customary for one to welcome those who are newly arrived into Luceti.

Welcome.

To those who have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I can be found regularly at the Battle Dome for those who want to learn to utilize the simulations.

A reminder to everyone that the Kobayashi Maru simulation has been tested and is ready for public use. I will express my thanks to Mister Obi-Wan Kenobi, Miss Ami Mizuno, and Miss Lirael for testing the program for me.

I also find myself requiring assistance for a project that I have agreed to.... though I find myself now at an impasse. I am currently working on a small scale version of projected diburnium-osmium shield technology... with some minor alterations. If anyone is familiar with this or is willing to help, please inform me.

Peace and long life.

[Action]

[Spock found himself once again frustrated by the recent memory lapse... for one who highly values mental discipline, it is... unnerving to find that your mind has been tampered with. However, Spock has long ago come to terms with this place and its disregard for dignity.

In the morning Spock can be found at the Dome by the computer terminals...but in the late afternoon strange, hauntingly beautiful music can be heard coming from House #2's backyard.
The Vulcan was pleased to have completed his Lyre, and was now enjoying an afternoon of practice.

In the evening, Spock actually ventures out to Seventh Heaven and can be found at a solitary table with a cup of tea.

Come and bother Spock at any and all of these locations.]

What? [What the hell was he supposed to say to that?] What are you talking about. [He's always like this.] I didn't come here to see a psychologist or to share my feelings in a cute little group circle, I came here to train! Now are you going to show me or not?
misterbrief: (yeah no)

It was a pseudo Sander Cohen XD \(:{D)/

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-04 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
[Vegeta cranes his neck up to keep his glare going with the Vulcan, who is now standing a good seven inches above him.]

Vegeta. Prince of all Saiyans. And yours, while we're at it. [His foot is starting to tap with his rising temper.]
misterbrief: (hmmmm)

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-04 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Where that may be true, I wasn't asking for your concern over my emotional state either. In which I am perfectly fine, Spock. I only want to continue to push myself in these simulations, because they are unsuited to my needs right now. [He's trying to calm himself. Trying.]
misterbrief: (It's been a while hasn't it son?)

possibly...but never say never!

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-05 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
[His jaw sets. There is no way he'll say please, ever. He moves past Spock, to one of the simulation controls, going through the options, looking for what he wants.]

I can find it myself. [He messes with it some more, finally presses a series of buttons to his suiting, turning around and grinning at Spock.]

See? Turns out I didn't need your help at all! [But upon closer inspection of the panel, he's completely failed at raising the gravity levels- in fact he's managed to do exactly the opposite.]
misterbrief: (DISGUSTING)

^.^

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-05 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
[Vegeta glances back down at the panel. And his mouth turns up in anger, arms folding, and ugh...it's wrong.]

[His teeth are just grinding now, shaking with fury. Eyes close and he cannot believe what he's about to say. Through those gritted teeth, of course.]

Can...you show me...how to adjust the gravity... [A long, drawn out beat.]

please.
misterbrief: (I was saving that sushi for last!)

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-06 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
[Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. The Saiyan is not taking this well, and to top it all off Spock's coolness ground on his nerves even more, without a clue as to why it frustrated him so much. His face is a reflection of humiliation and anger. He'll shoot Spock a glare, before he further adjusts the gravity.]

No. If there is anything else, I'll let you know. [He had been watching Spock, and goes to turn the gravity to 300 times normal gravity before entering the chamber.] Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a lot of work ahead of me.
misterbrief: (so what did you really want)

so I guess the gravity can't go past 10x. Ewps, didn't know that

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-06 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
[Vegeta's just going to growl at Spock, as he enters the chamber- and he'll start up by transforming, hair suddenly turning gold and an enormous amount of energy bursts out from his core, emerald eyes looking back to glare one last time as the door shuts behind him. He'll be in there for a little bit, but Spock will be able to catch him leaving once he's done if he's sticking around that long.]
misterbrief: (so what did you really want)

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-07 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
[Vegeta's a lot less angry now that he's worked out, but still rather irritated with the Vulcan at the moment. He looks over, turning his mouth up at the question.]

It went fine. [Twitch.] But these simulations are incredibly inadequate to my needs. It seems that even a rodent could complete most of them. Even in the increased gravity it's not much of a challenge.

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-09 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
Oh? [He's interested, but like hell if he'll say please again.] Well Spock, I'd be interested to see if you have any ideas for something more strenuous and challenging. Because that- [He points back to the room he'd just left-] was pathetic in comparison to what I'm used to.
misterbrief: (oh god no what)

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-09 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Alter my...what? [Hands come up to pat his chest a few times; he kind of likes his body the way it is.]

No way! They should be designing better simulations, I shouldn't have to alter myself in order to get anything out of it! [Regardless, the concept was interesting.]

Alter in what way?
misterbrief: (don't think this changes anything)

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-10 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Hmpf. I could obliterate the entire mountain range in one blast if I wanted to. [Not that he would- only if he had to.] You couldn't pay me enough to genetically alter my body to repress any of my strength. That would be incredibly unwise in case of an attack or any other kind of emergency. Besides, do you even know if it will work correctly, and not become a permanent effect upon the subject?
misterbrief: (SSJ)

[personal profile] misterbrief 2013-02-10 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
Even at half strength I could level this entire enclosure without a single thought. I'm surprised that they omitted Saiyan strength out of your education, Spock.
