Personal Log #11 - Dazed and Confused [Voice/Action]
[Spock opened his eyes and held in the groan at the familiar sight of Luceti's forest. It took a moment for the Vulcan to organize his thoughts and realize what had happened...
Ah yes... He had been kidnapped once again.
Spock sat up, wary of the lingering effects from his visit with the Malnosso... and looked around for his Journal. Predictably it was laying innocently by his side... illogically he had hoped that it might have been lost. No matter.
Spock reached for it and stopped... realizing that something was wrong with his hand. It was... frozen. His long fingers stuck together, hand in the shape of a loose fist and refusing to move. The Vulcan's eyes widened in surprise as he checked his other hand, finding the exact same thing. What was he going to do? He could barely pick up the journal let alone use it properly.
The Vulcan fumbled with the journal, finally getting it to flop open on in his lap... ]
Greetings. I have been returned from my... visit... with the Malnosso. I require assistance. Is anyone there?
[Action]: Spock can be found in the woods without the use of his hands. He's going to need a lot of help, and Spock's not going to like it.
You can also catch him walking towards his place with his journal held awkwardly between his fists. Approach him if you dare.]
[OOC: When I originally went on Hiatus, I said that Spock was going to be on autopilot, however, I've needed to be away longer than originally planned. It was advised to me that I have Spock mallynapped to excuse him from not knowing everything that's gone down. Apparently I've missed wings... this upsets me greatly. XD]

[Voice]
I believe I am in the forest north east of the village square. Captain, my sense of time is off... how long have I been gone?
Re: [Voice]
Um.. over a month, I think. I don't have a calendar in front of me. Look, I'm coming for you. Are you hurt?
[ He figured he was at least weak from whatever had been done to him, so regardless of if he was physically unhurt, he was going to help. ]
Re: [Voice]
[Over a month? That was the longest yet. Spock hesitates at the next question.]
I am without the use of my hands Captain. [Frustration was evident in his voice.]
Re: [Voice]
What?
[ That brings him up short for a second before he's off running again, aiming in the direction Spock had said and feeling out the link for a better idea, though it was raw and hard to use after so long without use. ]
Okay, define 'without use' for me.
Re: [Voice]
...inconvenient gift from the Malnosso it seems.
[Spock hesitates...]
Captain... I...
...apologise for having left you for so long.
Re: [Voice]
You can placate me later, just help me find you right now. Kick something or whistle, I don't know.
[ He was making his way noisily through the woods, hoping Spock would hear him coming and would indeed cry out. ]
Re: [Voice]
Very well...
[Spock starts to whistle... That's not something he does very often, but he can do it adequately. In the distance he can hear his Captain making his way through the woods.
...it is a very welcome sound.]
Re: [Voice]
[ He hears it and he makes for it, glad he had been back on his jogging all these past weeks. He made it up to the other relatively quickly, dropping down into a crouch next to the Vulcan and giving him a lop-sided grin. ]
Well, fancy meeting you here.
Re: [Voice]
It... is good to see you Captain.
[Spock means it. The Vulcan stands, lacking his usual grace and coordination.]
Re: [Voice]
[ Kirk grabs his arm and hooks it over his shoulder, helping the other up, arm sliding around his waist for extra support. ]
I kind of missed your face too, Spock.
Come on, let's get you home.
[ He began to shuffle them along, sincerely glad to have his friend by his side again. ]
Re: [Voice]
...the Vulcan found himself welcoming the considerate touch.]
Have I missed anything of significance? Is the young female and her wolf still residing in our house?
Re: [Voice]
Well, there's a bit to go over, so you'll have to define significance for yourself.
And their names are Arya and Nymeria, Spock, and yes, they do still live with us. It was a challenge keeping that wolf from taking over your room.
Re: [Voice]
Wolf in his bedroom?
Illogical.]
I...see. It is fortunate then that I have returned. Miss Arya is well?
[Spock had his own concerns for the young woman... even though they didn't really know each other. It was more of a matter of her being left alone with Jim all this time. Not exactly a good parent figure. *heh*
But really, he wanted to ask how Jim was... Spock was worried.
....he spent a lot of his time alone... in a cell... thinking about his Captain.]
Re: [Voice]
[ He was a great parent figure, thank you. Maybe not a dad figure, but a big brother? An uncle? He was great at that. She had opened up to him Spock, in a way she thought she had not to many others, so there.
He shifted Spock's weight against his side, rubbing his hip gently for a second before helping him down a bit of a steeper stretch. ]
She's doing good. You know, off being a tomboy mostly.
Re: [Voice]
I see.. that is well.
Captain... you do realize that I can walk, yes?
[It's not that he wasn't grateful, but it was difficult to be this close to Jim.]
Re: [Voice]
You think that, but you've been cooped up probably in a tiny cell for over a month, so I'm guessing unless they exercised you like good and proper owners your muscles have atrophied or you're at least not up for a hike through the woods without help.
Re: [Voice]
Jim was right.]
I... thank you Captain. You are correct.
Re: [Voice]
Yeah, well, I know what it's like to come out of it, and you more than me. So come on. You need some food, some water, and a good bath. Though... I guess if you can't use your hands we're going to have to work out something about that.
[Action]
...he would need aid in many things.]
C-captain, I am certain that I can bathe by myself..
[Spock, see reason, you can't even take your clothes off by yourself.]
Re: [Action]
Really? How do you plan to get shampoo into your hair? How do you plan to hold a cloth to wash yourself? Hmm? Tell me that, mister science officer.
Re: [Action]
Looks like Jim and Spock were going to be forced together once more.
Spock had been trying so hard to give Jim the distance he needed... to just be his First Officer and allow their minds to heal. But it looks as though they weren't allowed that luxury.]
Captain... you have my apologies. I hope that I am not a burden on you.
Re: [Action]
[ He gave a heavy sigh and slapped the other's hip sharply, giving him a look out of the corner of his eye. ]
Come on Spock, we're friends. We're always burdens to each other. But, you know, that's how you know you've got a good friend.
Re: [Action]
[Spock murmured something in Vulcan... ]
I must admit that this is relatively new territory for me Captain... There are no 'friends' on Vulcan.
[At least, that's what they would have liked you to think.]
Re: [Action]
I know your race isn't exactly the most social, but you like being around certain Vulcans over others, right? Those people are called friends, Spock.
[ He paused to readjust the other's weight against his shoulder and then kept going, glad they were on the smoother paths leading into the village now. ]
Re: [Action]
I am aware... however you are once again measuring in human terms. Vulcans who are close share a mental affinity for one another, a bond of sorts. To apply a term so casual as 'friend' to that connection is not correct.
[Spock.. was unhappy about something. He was being bitchy.]
