Personal Log #13 - Return [Video/Action]

[As the lights from the transporter beam dissipates, the Vulcan sways as he takes in the rather unexpected surroundings. There was one obvious conclusion:
This was not the Enterprise.

The Vulcan's mind buzzes with questions: Where was he? Where was Khan? Did he escape? Did the transporter malfunction? Did Nyota make it back to the Enterprise? The whole fight with the war criminal Khan seemed like a dream, an emotionally hazy, anger filled dream. Memories he didn't have for a whole year came flooding back, and he knew, he knew where he was now. This wasn't a trick of the mind, he was really back in this place.

Luceti...

An entire year later and he was brought back again at the most ill-conceived time. His Captain... his friend was dead and Khan's blood could supposedly bring him back to life? Certainly he had believed Nyota's words, but there was no concrete evidence given to him, and now he'll never know.
Spock looked around in quiet desperation, his brows furrowed with a rare vulnerability showing on his face. He shifted his back... yes, of course, there were the wings, sensitive as he remembered from his first days here in this infuriating place. The journal, his name embossed in gold gleamed in the sunlight, as if mocking him... but that was illogical. Bending at the waist, Spock picked up the journal, allowing its weight in his hand to remind him of the reality of the situation.

Green blood splattered on the journal as he opened it, he needed to see who was still here. The Vulcan breathed, wiping the strange coloured blood from the side of his mouth... and then opened his mouth to speak.]

Greetings residents of Luceti, I am Spock. I have been gone for approximately eleven point three months, however, considering the paradox of time that Luceti resides in, I do not know how long I have actually been away from here. If there is anyone still here that I know, information would be appreciated.

[Spock pauses to wipe more blood from his mouth.] I also require medical assistance.

[Action]

[Spock finds his way to the clinic so that his injuries can be seen to. Later, he can be found at the Dome, reorienting himself to Luceti and making sure his program files are still there, although he's only been gone a few days. In the evening Spock can be found around House #2, sitting on the porch with his Lyre, tired but amenable to talk.]


[ooc: Spock's been out of Luceti for just over two days, but if you've seen the movie Star Trek: Into Darkness, you'll know that Spock has been gone for about a year. The moment he's brought into Luceti is just as he is beamed back onto the ship after beating the crap out of Khan with Uhura's assistance. So have a beaten up Vulcan who's worried about his dead Captain. Cheers~]

Master Spock?! ( The blood scares her and she peers down at her journal, expression pale with anxiety and fear. ) You haven't been gone that long. The last time I spoke to you was less than a month ago.

Where are you? I can help you to the clinic.

[Spock blinked, taking a moment to be surprised at the appearance of Padme's face.]

I am by the fountain in the town square. I would very much appreciate your assistance.

[It was good to see a familiar face.]

<sub>[ He had the journal open almost constantly. He was confined to bed, and he could little argue with that even though he hated it with a passion. If nothing else, he could listen and talk while he slept - a lot more than he thought he would. But they said you needed lots of sleep when you were sick, and sleeping dulled the constant ache of his body.

When he heard Spock's voice he jerked, scrambling for the journal, ignoring the stutters of pain from the sudden movements. He would need to work that out soon, ask someone to help with some physical therapy probably. Had he atrophied at all? He hoped not. ]</sub>

Spock? Spock, you damn elf, where have you been?

[Spock stilled... he couldn't dare hope that this was his Jim necessarily. It almost physically hurt to hear that voice after watching him die.]

Jim? What is your location?

[Saleh hears a familiar voice and immediately feels the need to assist. It's his duty after all.]

[Spock almost breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of a familiar face.]

Mister Saleh. I am by the fountain in the town square. Do you know how long I have been absent from Luceti?

O- oi, Spock! [ Get to it, Usopp, time to be a man and not wait for a few hours before hailing him. What's there to be afraid of being afraid of? ] What happened? Someone's coming to help you, right?

Mister Usopp... if you are available, I would very much appreciate your assistance. [Time to break you out of your comfort zone Usopp.]

Did you do that thing? Y'know.. when you leave, but come back and remember everything?

You've not been gone that long. I saw you! Uh.... Well it was just over a month ago!

So it would seem, Mister Naruto. [Yeah, he recognizes that blond youth.]

A month? [That could potentially put Spock within a few days since he's last been in Luceti. This could be potentially awful... especially if an earlier version of his Captain is here. He doesn't know if he could face that.]

You have experience with this? [He didn't know that Naruto was in Luceti before him.]

[Action]

[Eleytheria doesn't manage to find Spock until much later in the evening, something which he isn't particularly proud of considering the state he assumed his friend was in from the previous recording. It's a relief to hear the strange haunting sound of that lyre again though. So he was all right... at least in body.

What exactly had happened to his friend? How did he not notice until now?

Eley follows the sound and finds the Vulcan sat on the porch. It's clear that he's rather exhausted from whatever has come to pass. Carefully, the Spirit approaches him. He seems wary, almost as if worried he might do something to worsen Spock's condition.

Wordlessly, he takes a seat beside him.]

[Spock gently runs his fingers over the strings of the lyre. It's been... quite the day. He doesn't know if he likes being back in Luceti, but he is glad to see his friend again.]

Eleytheria. It is well to see you again. For me... it has been a year, but I had no memory of this place.

[This deeply disturbs the Vulcan.]

[So soon after Kirk's reappearance, it's really not a surprise to learn that Spock has returned. But the fact that they're both back apparently so banged up is worrying.]

You've been gone a few days, Spock. But more importantly, where are you?

Captain Rogers. [Familiar voice, this was a good start.]

I have materialized by the fountain. [He was afraid to ask about Kirk, part of him didn't want to know.] I may require... assistance in getting to the clinic.

[Action] Battle Dome, where else?

[misterbrief]

[He hadn't checked the journals today, so he was unaware of Spock's situation- but he is training, as per usual, at the Dome. Doing work with his swordplay and with his martial arts. It's been a tiring day, so he's going to leave- and start to walk right past Spock, though there's a particular lack of him sneering or making any kind of rude face or remark this time around.

He's in a relatively good mood anyway, so he just raises a hand with a few fingers raised in a waving gesture to the Vulcan as he's making his way out.]

[Spock is as spaced out as a Vulcan can be. He doesn't notice Vegeta... and it looks as though he is staring at nothing, lost in thought.]

My apologies, I do not know who you are. [Though there was something familiar about her.]

[When the simulation for the indoor pool ends after an hour, Haruka finds himself wanting to swim just a bit more.

So when he finds a stranger by the central console, Haruka waits a short distance away, wearing nothing but his swimming jammers while he drips water on the floor. How is simulated water wet, anyway? Either way, if that guy doesn't hurry up, Haruka plans on talking to him.]

[Spock simply sits there, looking as if he's staring into nothing... completely lost in thought. The Vulcan is not normally so blank looking.]

You have been away for approximately one month...and although I am not a mednin, I do know first aid.

[It does make her wish that she'd picked up medical ninjutsu. Perhaps she could have taken better care of Nagato back on their world. She would also be able to heal her friend in need now. However, she can't, and her strengths are in strategy, projectile weapons and espionage.]

I can help you get safely to the clinic, too.

[spohkh]

If you have bandages, I am certain that will suffice... and I would appreciate your assistance to the clinic. [Spock is currently sitting on the edge of the fountain... knuckles bleeding and green dribbling from his mouth and head.]

Miss Foster, it is well to see you again. [Though she wasn't in Luceti for quite some time.]

Assistance would be most appreciated, you can find me by the fountain in the town square. [Spock was currently sitting on the rim of the fountain, not really wanting to move too much.]

[The view might be a little on the bumpy side as Grune picks up her journal and starts heading for the door.]

However, it is well to see you Miss Grune.

[Spock was actually quite glad to see Grune, but knowing that he had completely forgot about this amazing woman while in his own universe saddened him. It was a dishonour to their friendship to forget about her completely...]

[Ami is immediately alarmed, and contacts Spock from the feed. She knows very well he hadn't been gone for that long by Luceti time, and she's had some experience with that herself. But first of all, she needs to make sure his condition is stable.]

I can be ready to receive you at the clinic as quickly as possible if you have assistance to come here.

[Spock almost smiles as he sees the familiar face.]

Ami, it is well to see you. [The Vulcan was hobbling, making his way to the clinic.]

I will be at the clinic momentarily. Do you perhaps know how long I have been away?
