Personal Log #18 - [Action - All Day]

The Dome:

[One of the simulator doors is wide open for anyone to see inside, and for the most part, the room is empty... except for a tv, and a large couch; the back of which is facing the door. For anyone who knows the Vulcan well, they'll recognize the cap of neat, black hair sticking above the back of the couch. What will seem odd though are the sounds coming from the room...

...sounds, for those who would recognize them, that resemble something like video games from the mid eighties to early nineties.

If anyone dares to venture into the room and walks around the couch, they'll see the floor littered with games for the various consoles set up by the tv. Currently, Spock is engrossed with Super Mario Bros for the SNES, his eyebrows and mouth fixated in a scary looking frown as he navigates through the levels.]



[ooc: Spock has been gone for just about two weeks, and is now suffering under a inconvenient effect: he's addicted to video games. For those who would like to jump in on this, there are extra controllers. *hint hint*
Also, it's good to be back~ /hugs everyone/]

Then I hope you are able to return to her soon.

I do hope to as well, but not immediately. There's unfinished business here, and I want to solve the mystery of this world's cycle first. My dearest can wait.

[She reaches for her controller and leans a shoulder against him.]

Now, enough of that. She'd tell me the same thing, and then immediately demand to play games. So...turn on the machine? I don't know how.

[With a nod, the Vulcan turns on the console, then arranges himself once more on the couch.
The music fills the room, and after choosing characters, they're finally ready for a race.]

I will see you at the finish line.

[Spock looks almost smug. Have a competitive Vulcan.]

[And they are off! Saori has clearly chosen Mario...because she always picks Mario because she doesn't actually know who any of the others are except Green-Mario, Mushroom Boy, and the Princess. Oh, and the turtle-dragon.]

Not if I see you there first!

[And they are off. Saori's driving isn't great, but she's good at getting the power ups at least!]

[The time passes smoothly, and a part of the Vulcan is actually enjoying himself.
Curious.

He realizes that this is just another way the Malnosso can take power away from him, but perhaps, perhaps there is more to this 'experiment'. And just maybe, pretending to be human for a time is not at all bad.
Eventually, Spock puts down the controller...]
