[Spock was.... rather curious at the unexpected influx of individuals without wings...

In his mind, the Vulcan was making theories that included black holes, transporters, ion storms...It was frustrating that the nature of this world made it impossible to pin down any one theory.

Spock can be found traveling to the Dome in the morning, and working there for the rest of the day.
In the evening the Vulcan's curiosity gets the better of him and he stops by Seventh Heaven to see who all is there.]

Where are your materials? If you are starting from 'scratch', as they say, then I can estimate that a project like that with at least six other engineers and scientists... it would take you approximately eight months to gain enough leverage for a small skirmish.

You! Have you developed an immunity to mind control devices? Are you secretly a robot? Have you sapped the power from my devices?

I am a Vulcan...whether or not your device has the capability to 'control others' minds'... I have superior mental defenses.

[But Spock is still a curious scientist...] May I examine your device? [Spock takes a step forward.]

No! I'll not allow you to sabotage my work any further! I will teach you the true power of science!

[And then, well. Lightning. Science lightning.]

[The Vulcan's eyes widen with surprise.... where had the light come from?]

That is most fascinating Doctor Insano... how did you manage that? Do you also have magical abilities?

This isn't magic! It's SCIENCE! Why doesn't it work?

[Spock takes an imposing step forward...] You keep using the word 'science' incorrectly...

'Science' is a field of study.... similar to 'art' or 'music'... Simply saying 'Science' does not explain what you are doing.

Spontaneous phenomenon erupting from your person does not constitute as science unless explained....

[The Vulcan is staring at you...]

I know what science is! I'm a doctor! A completely legitimate doctor!

I even have a stethoscope!

You can be a Doctor of almost any field... simply having a stethoscope does not make you a Doctor of science...

That particular instrument usually belongs to medical Doctors.

[OOC: He can certainly go for it! Actually, Insano is surprisingly badass in hand-to-hand combat, if rather cartoony. His inventions are usually more effective too, but it's funnier this way.]

I have studied a multitude of sciences in the best universities across time and space- and let me tell you, inventing time travel so I could do it was no easy feat! I hold doctorates in physics! Chemistry! Engineering! Zoology! Botany! Anatomy! Xenobiology! Astrophysics! Child Psychology! Temporal Mechanics!

I even hold a doctorate in Early Childhood Development!

Are you human? [Because in order to acquire that many doctorates... that would take a lot of time.... and even when you time travel, you still age.

Otherwise, it's either completely illogical, or he's not human.]

Of course! But I'm not just any human! I'm the greatest intellect that human science has ever known! You see, you have no hope of defeating me! You may as well surrender now!

[And with that, he begins cackling again.

It's really kind of a problem for him.]

It doesn't seem as though this man belongs to anyone here, so the Vulcan moves forward, and attempts to nerve pinch him.]
