Greetings and salutations. I believe that it is customary for one to welcome those who are newly arrived into Luceti.

To those who have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I can be found regularly at the Battle Dome for those who want to learn to utilize the simulations.

A reminder to everyone that the Kobayashi Maru simulation has been tested and is ready for public use. I will express my thanks to Mister Obi-Wan Kenobi, Miss Ami Mizuno, and Miss Lirael for testing the program for me.

I also find myself requiring assistance for a project that I have agreed to.... though I find myself now at an impasse. I am currently working on a small scale version of projected diburnium-osmium shield technology... with some minor alterations. If anyone is familiar with this or is willing to help, please inform me.

[Action]

[Spock found himself once again frustrated by the recent memory lapse... for one who highly values mental discipline, it is... unnerving to find that your mind has been tampered with. However, Spock has long ago come to terms with this place and its disregard for dignity.

In the morning Spock can be found at the Dome by the computer terminals...but in the late afternoon strange, hauntingly beautiful music can be heard coming from House #2's backyard.
The Vulcan was pleased to have completed his Lyre, and was now enjoying an afternoon of practice.

In the evening, Spock actually ventures out to Seventh Heaven and can be found at a solitary table with a cup of tea.

Come and bother Spock at any and all of these locations.]

I offered you condolences because you were the one who has been left behind. And you have essentially lost someone.... no matter what state Jilly is in in her own universe.

Obstinate is my middle name. Well -- actually, it's Anne. Buffy Anne Summers. But...just call me Buffy. None of this Miss Summersing. Only students and trainee-Slayers call me Miss Summers.

Actually? In almost four years I've only been nabbed three times. Usually, without anything too serious upon my return. What can I say? I'm...lucky.

But the Vulcan cannot help but wonder if Buffy is bothered by the fact that Jilly no longer has any memory of her time spent here with Buffy... it was a significant amount of time.]

I find that I am curious regarding the rumours of an escape attempt. Have you heard anything?

I know one of the minds behind it. He's...a brilliant man.

[ even if buffy has her reservations about the relative merits of opening world-hopping portals. the last time someone did that, she ended up dead. ]

I am certain that he would have to be... it is a rather daunting task to undertake.

I find that I am curious as to the results... but I fear what may happen. [Spock wasn't pessimistic... just logical. But he felt that this project was doomed to fail.]

...I believe there's a chance that they have a chance. A very slim chance. We're talking the Twiggy of chances.

Puh-lease. Captain Jack Sparrow learned it from me.

The last conversation I had with the Captain... I admit that I did not understand most of what he said.

His speech is very....unique.

It has been refreshing to date a guy who doesn't ask for a translation every few sentences. [ jack -- even when he didn't understand her references -- always rolled with them. ]

There are definite perks for dating inside the weirdness category.

I'm...grateful I found him. He found me. O-or else I'm grateful he never gave up the chase. Either way, gratitude is busting out all over.

However, I am interested to know where he has acquired his science degree, because he is proposing something that is theoretically impossible.

Of course he's proposing something that's theoretically impossible. Boasting and peacocking is pretty much the point of the modern popular rap scene.
